I can't believe it. In the Philippines, N81 is now more expensive than N82. The N82 is the best NSeries ever made yet it's also the most affordable.

When i receive sms while listening to music...it freezes the restarts! And the blue paint in the side can be easily peeled by my nails...(i dont know about the gray-colored n81...mine is blue, made in china.. i purchased it August 2008) The camera is terrible..i like the nokia 5300 camera better eventhough its 1.3 mpixel. Also, i navi wheel does not work the way it used to. My friend's n81 is made in Finland and its navi wheel still works perfectly. Also, the game button opening is prone to dust...it irritates me! I'm planning to buy sony ericsson C510 these coming months.

pola, 31 Jan 2009this phone is heavy.. i can't imagine myself lugging this o... moreIts not the phone,its your weak arms that cant handle it, its not heavy,if you think it is i highly recommend joining the nearest gym to residance. :)

john dunne, 12 Jan 2009will this phone work in america if i buy a sim card over there?It most definitely will. It is a Quad Band phone so it'll work worldwide.

FK, 30 Jan 2009i saw in a video review of n81 that when you close the slid... moreAt the top of the phone there is a tiny lever that you pull while the slider is closed and that lever unlocks the phone so that you can browse the menu, play music, etc. Nokia thought of everything.

Also, it doesn't have the Autofocus feature because the camera is only 2MP and isn't good enough to have too demanding functions.

go for nokia n78.
its 15000/. but you get a 3.2mpx camera with flash n autofocus plus GPS plus an fm transmitter for 1000 more!!!although i know its keypad is kinda a problem but
its totally worth the extra buck!
its also got like 96mb ram and the latest symbian s60v3 with fp2.

Does N81 have GOOD sound AND picture quality? I was gonna go for a Sony Ericsson phone b/c of sound and pic quality, but the phone either has everything I want but isn't attractive or vice versa. I notice that N81 has flash, but no autofocus:(

wh... moreThe N81 is a lot beta than that cheap Motorola. N81 has Symbian S60, stereo loudspeakers,tons of RAM to multitask and just a lot to offer.

The N81 has a dedicated spring loaded key lock switch so if you wana use the phone with the pad closed then just flick the switch and it will unlock.

which one is better MOTO A1600 or NOKIA N81 and why?
bcoz A1600 not having 3G and EDGE technology and sombdy told me that A1600 is slower and the sound is not good.
plz reply ASAP.

i saw in a video review of n81 that when you close the slider it says "keypad locked".how do you unlock the keypad when the slider is closed? do you have to open the slide to look through the phone?
