rafaelo, 15 Sep 2008 Its not working...,It does work. Just make sure you press firmly green,3,* while powering the phone on, and keep these three buttons pressed until the phone starts. Try to disable pin or other locks, may be they keep the phone from formating. I'm using this on all symbian since my first 6600. Works all the time. Let me know.

You'll be able to see and your mail folders in case you receive smth by the bluetooth that your phone doesnt naturaly support, but your third party applications do. For example avi files. You can copy the files and paste them in any other folder in your phone instead of keeping them in your messages.

mbbm, 15 Sep 2008can we delete files from the private folder? and what type ... morejust don't play with the private folder if you are not sure about it
if you delete some files,it may causing some apps not work
as my experience that I couldn't play my n-gage games when I followed a phone tabloid to deleted a file from private folder to make it be a full version

had this phone for 5 months, had nothing but problems with it, even with regular restores and upgrades it had massive issues.
would think hard before buying it, buy a sony instead i reckon. or an iphone which i have now.
just stay away from the N81 at all costs.

It has the similar number of imei but its not imei number!!
Check imei number easily from phone box or ask to the nearest nokia service center for sure
Remember: imei number can be ordered in black market

omega, 14 Sep 2008i wanted to know if the slidder gets loose after some time ... morethe slider does get loose but not too much you really have to be looking to see that ...........and the low built in memory isnt a problem since you can have everything saved to the memory card including the text,email,and mms

I need a file manager that does not ask me repeadtly whether the application needs to access phone memory. I am facing this problem in FileExplorer.jar software which prompts me whether I should allow to access phone/card memory every time I open a drive or folder.
Is there any way to avoid this or any software that opens folders/drives without prompting?

I am not a user .i wil be soon. I wana know (n81 2gb)users .how long file(mb) can we download through n81 2gb web browser. I use 3250 its more than 2 years old i can only instal a file with in free phone memory (4-5)mb only

i have had 2 of these handsets
both were faulty and made my life quite frustating without a phone
text messanging broke on the phone
thankfully being with o2 they swapped the phone on the door so didnt have manage so long without a phone
but dont have the phone they are rubbish
nokia have gone really down and i DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM
