To find the "Private" folder:
You can find it by connecting your device to a PC via USB cable and by selecting data transfer. You will find different folders like data, images etc.. The Private folder and some folders are hidden. Just go to tools->folder options-> click view-> and select "show hidden files and folders". The private folder will now appear.

Everytime i try to download and install a theme on my n81 i get an error saying certificate expired. I've tried changing the date on my phone to various past dates but still no luck. Anyone have any idea as to what i can do???

I purchased fennish n81 & the stereo speakers are miracle they r great great.. Mp3 player is excellent. But the problem is that the screen is covered with very cheap plastic (as a part of the casing) & this is very prone to scratch and damage in a very exaggerated way believe me that what made me return it back taking my mony back.. I dont know why a stupid mistake done by nokia.. Why nokia always neglect such important things concerning design?!!

Wheew!! finally got a solution to my question... If anyone experiencing the same problem the "untrusted software found...etc" every time you switched on the phone, just delete the SIS file/s found in Private\10202dce or cut it and save it to your pc just in case a problem occur, but mine is ok ^_^
to Dr. Vikram, just open the folder Private\10207114\import, all the installed themes or app. goes here, (because some of the themes installed are not found in the app.mgr.) find the name of the themes you want to remove and delete it.

Hi All,
Got my n81 3 days back. Somehow the Maps application is not opening now. It had opened earlier and was also downloading maps via my web connection.
When opening it shows the progress bar going upto 90% and the window closes. Pls let me know if anyone faced this issue.

I read many review stated that n81 has good slider but... morethe slider is better compared to n80 and n95 but it's not better when compared to samsung sliders. in time, it will have the tendency to get loose so better be careful. build quality is average to bad. very plasticky prone to scratches, smudges and fingerprints. you cant do anything to prevent that. but as a music phone, it's the best. it couldve been so gorgeous looking phone if not for the bad build quality.

I don't know about you guys but im beginning to hate my n81.I've had it six months but it looks about 3 years old.Sratches all over the place,i could understand if i had been careless but i've not.Nokia should have used better materials.I've had a several random restarts and sometimes it feels like the phone is a second or two behind the user..quite annoying
