Hi .. I have been using this phone & it's really good.
But
I have some questions Can Anyone answer me ??
1. Although Phone Memory is 21 MB, Free memory is only about 5 !!
p.s : I installed NOTHING on phone memory or put songs except some kbs for contacts, documents, ..
2. I noticed that when I put themes more than 15, some of them are deleted
Is it really doesn't accept more than 15 theme ??

OK ppl... !! i got the latest firmware installed on my nokia N81 (micro SD version)... i.e. v20.0.056... I have to say, inspite of all the good looking menues and the fl3 support and wat not... i would really like to bring one major disadvantage of this firm ware... i had noticed when i had FW v10.0.035, my music volume was LOUD.. i mean really loud !! after which i got FW v11.0.045.. in which the volume for some odd reason was reduced !!.. now why would they do that !!??... so thought may be the next FW will fix this.. but heck.. after installin thr latest v20.0.056, the volume has been futher reduced !! i cant hear anything when i'm playin music while travelling on the bus or train or wat eva !!.. wat a bummer !!.. and the worst part is i cant even revert back to the older FW.. so guys.. u need to really consider when u get the newer FW update..
BTW, u can get files Bluetooth larger than ur phone memory.. just change the memory location in ur msg settings from phone to memory card, i had transfered a single file of nearly 20 MB once.. hope this helps..

just go to the nearest nokia service center
ask for firmware upgrading to the teller
I never upgrade firmware by myself via nokia.com or nokia software updater because it takes a big risk

when I took picture of myself with flash in a low light place (room,office,badroom..)
all I got is a pict of my super brigthly face!
read my post before about how N81 camera works
if you want a good pict then you should make sure you are in outdoor place where have much light and don't use the flash
and remember you have only 2MPX camera on your phone
don't expect too much,hahahahahaha.. :p

Is there any1 knows how to update ver.11 of the firmware to ver.20. When i try to update my ver. 11 it always says that it is already upto date.

but S60 platform phones always keep all sent item data via bluetooth as message on inbox messaging
so,if you are N81
you can't receive item (MP3,JPEG etc) by Email & bluetooth when your internal memory is smaller than the item itself

It was a co-incidence that made me to think N81 does not supports .sis files because all (very few but) my .sis files that I had downloaded for Nokia 3230 failed in N81.

hi n81 user, when i take out picture at night and put on the flash it only has a bright light when the photo is take out does this happen to anyone???? can you suggest wat can i do to reduce that and get a good photo. plzzz help me

because when you receive data via bluetooth & the it is bigger than internal memory
the system will let it directly saved on the external
unlike S60..........
the system will save any received data via bluetooth,Email,some download etc on the internal
