I've had this phone for months and never had anything go wrong with it. Slider is perfect, software is perfect everything is just as it was when I first bought it.
Look after it and it will be fine

hi i just bought my n81,i jst have 1 question.is there any more way that i can adjust the volume during a phone call w/out using the loadspeaker bcoz even though its already on its maximum volume,still not enough to hear the other line,esp. when ur on the street with all the cars running..pls help me,, i will wait for your reply.thanx n advance..

It's not a bad cell,actually if you bear in mind it's running a Symbian OS you could say the n81 is reasonably fast.Now the nasty bit is the build quality.I kid you not this device is one of nokia's poorest builds.The keypad can only be described as A DISGRACE.The number and music buttons are made of very cheap creaky plastic.I've seen $40 entry level cellphones with far superior build quality!such a shame

the phone is hell of problems and totally feedup with software issuses and when approached Nokia care they are cool and says its noraml with n81, its gets rebooted often and totally a bad phone according my opinion.
plz dont buy this phone.

Just bought this phone in December 2007, awesome phone, huge display, love the navi wheel function, but disapointed with the demo games and 2 mp camera.....8.8/10

With T-Mobile rolling out a 3g 2100 mhz network, this is definitely the phone to be beat. Sure, it doesn't have WiMAX or WiBro, but here stateside, those are nonexistent anyways.
