this is not a touch sensitive phone and it it has so many buttons on it.
the numeric keypad feels good specially because of the size of the phone (compared to the n95 8gb...i had a really bad time typing an sms on that one.)
the problem on the n81 is the buttons on the lower part of the slider...they are covered with a somewhat plastic material (whatever) and it is really hard to press buttons on it specially the menu button and the green and red recievers.but take note that the multimedia(the useless one) button feels good and responds good.
the gaming keys on top of the device are quite pleasant compared to the other buttons.
take note that nokia removed the stencil button (pencil) and the gallery button on the side of the phone.
**nokia should change the buttons on the top slider of the device because for me that is a major drawback on buying this phone...because i always use the menu button for multi tasking.

hey, im a guy who likes to listen music without using any headset, only the speakers... So im just asking... which phone has the best, clearer and loudest speakers sound quality, nokia n81 8gb or nokia n95 8gb?

hi. has anyone had any problems transferrin albums to n81 8gig. when im trying to do this it keeps coming up with an error message saying memory full,please delete some data. this is after about 4 songs.
any ideas?

I hope whoever already own this N81 can tell me if the interface is not lack even when you running few applications at the same time? If speed like 6120 I am sure to get one, i love all the specs.

I am using SEW910, although is slim in design, I hate the speed, is really lack. During playing the MP3, u can try to use the contact book, is damnnnn slow.
I going to buy this N81, can anyone tell me is this phone N81 has the same speed like 6120? I used 6120 before is pretty fast interface.

In this sites review of this phone why is on of its features a 2mp camera then in the phones down sides a mediocre camera? haha pretty supid

anyone had problems with the phone droping calls ??? i mean bad reception at all ????
what about when you make a call is the chat and ear peace good quality can you hear them at high quality and do thay think your voice is high quality on there end using this phone???

The Nokia N81 is the best cellphone in a long time discarding the N95 which is much more expenseive.
My best recommendation: BUY IT.

sexy fone n i brought it tody n cost me arnd 24,000(INR) n i must say iz value for money...gr8 fone havng good sound n features..i'll give 8 outa 10 to dis gadget...

After reading the M-R review on samsung i450. i was surprised that this little thing even outperformed iPhone,N81 and N91 in music quality and performance. another thing was that it's screen even beats N95 in brightness and color reproduction although N95 has a gimmicky 16M color display lol. and built quality is excellent as always :)

look guys this phone is way better than any other phone. u guys just want phones with cameras than have more mega pixels than 2 when u dont even know wat mega pixels is..so guys keep cryin on mega pixels cuz i dont giva damn about cameras. if i wanted cameras with more mega pixels than i would have just goten myseilf a cyber shot.this phone is the best and iam gona get it .. a good pone is which has all the features like this one not one which has more mega pixels .. think about it

well iam from pakistan and bought this fone for 35000 pk rs....it is a beauty as far as design is concern...and performance a bit slow early on but when it sattels down it self it is a machine......software compatibility is marvellous......slider should be improved....sound quality is superb not much quantity but quality is better than any one in the town beating sony erricson and i fone....all in all nokia rules....
