my problems on it is not the 2mp camera or the carl zeiss label...

nor the lack of recording videos @ 30fps feature...

nor the lack of hsdpa...

nor the lack of the graphics chip same from n95...

hey its GAMING DEVICE!

that's why it wouldn't need much of those other features(perhaps except the n95 graphic chip)...

i'm a very considerate and logical consumer...

the only thing i didn't want that nokia did with it is the absence of tv out feature!

yeah... having gaming focused phone on hand, it is a must to have this feature!

i already forgaved nokia for not placing 5mp carl zeiss cam with autofocus that captures video at 30 fps, absence of hsdpa and graphics chip... but never on not placing a tv out feature in the spec sheet! it is really a SHEET!-(wrongly spelled)

SHEET! SHEET! Nokia is a SHEET!

Nokia uses good quality plastic whose weight is more its no problem for Nokia to make slim and stylish phones like samsung but all samsung slim phone are famous for poor battery i mean samsung battery performance is lower compared to Nokia and None of slim phone had features like High quality stereo speakers N-gage gaming platform also they dont have symbian and if i'm not wrong Nokia already have slim s40 and S60 phones (6300,5310,etc).

Looks great, and has 8gb memory! However a 2mp camera! What were Nokia thinking! Every time they realease a phone, it looks so good, and then they dont add a decent camera.

8 gb memory with 4 hrs battery. sounds like mixing oil to water. look at the size of this thing. my god! is this phone for the owner's use? or it's an accessory to help you be the talk of the table? you can't keep it in any pocket. so must keep it in hands. somebody notices and says, "may i?" you hand it over and start babbling about the specs. 8 gb would throw a coupla eyebrows skyhigh -- no doubt.

reminds me of an automobile joke but fact. most of the mercedes owners are backseat riders. most of the bmw owners love to drive their beemer. in cellphones this one is definitely a mercedes. lol.

                @Amras
you might have compared old Nokia phone display (like N73) when i saw first SE display i was pretty surprised by its display clarity but this surprise dont last for more than a month when i saw Nokia 6233/6131 and many S40v3 (till now i dont see any SE phone whose display is better than my 6233) display which is super clear from then to Now Nokia's display has been improved a lot may be you not knowing but most of Nokia's LCD are supplied SHARP Corporation and TOSHIBA depending upon where it had been manufactured also SHARP has been kicking SONY in LCD market also i have heard News that SAMSUNG will be suppling LCD to NOKIA

to w0QQ: phones cant have am station, because the am frecuency is low,so you will need a bigger antena than the phone

Yeah, I agree with Amras. gsmarena's exaggerating things a bit. I've seen display of motorazr its perfectly visible in sunlight though the resolution is old now. I've used samsung X700 the display of which was really nice. Even my friends have opinion of samsung having best displays but offcourse they r user unfriendly. But theres one thing I notice about Nokia that their displays use some HW acceleration chip so r very responsive though they use it only on high end N-series. Its not only the specs which make the display great but the default theme also has an impact.

cool phone!!! but,the only thing that was not included in this phone is an AM station!!! and why is it, that all celphone manufacturers doesnt include an AM Staion on their handset? dont they know that one of the most important features that every cellphones must have is actually an AM Station. so that people can have an option to listen to News on AM Station or Music on FM station...hope to see other cellfone manufacturers to add this kind of Features!!!

Amras, u work for SE/Samsung? seems like u dislike Nokia oh..
i still can see NOKIA leading the pack in 5-10 yrs time with one of the Korean brand overtake SE and clinch the 2nd spot. (My bold prediction: LG!) Moto is sinking coz it hasn;t bring any new ideas after the big hit V raz series which i am getting sicked off.
SE provides good camera features+nice walkman quality but it's design features is a major let down! Can u diffrentiate all the K series and the W series? Hardly can tell if you're not a SE die hard fans! The design r forgettable! as for Samsung, it's user unfriendly. I am a sms mandarin user. I think Nokia wins handsdown in term of the input of the charracter. Need I mention other brands e./g. Panasonic, Sagem, Siemes, Ben Q wich are all fading away??? Nokia got its pros and cons but still, if you want a diversity of products, first thing come into ur mind is a Nokia, and its 33% of the world market rate confirms that.
p/s i am not a Nokia worker or has whatsoever buisness interest with Nokia but a guy who loves Nokia. I used a Panasonic before (coz of a very famous Asian artist called Jay Chou who was a speaker for the phone) and it just brought me a nightmare! So, Nokia, keep d good work up and surprise me more!

In a world of Flash Memory and Blu-ray storage systems, going for a bulky phone seems like a psychological [not technical] drawback.

Frankly speaking I'm saving some money in my Swiss bank numbered account. Planning to buy a Nokia phone with an inbuilt 200 GB SATA-2 7200 RPM HDD. Definitely it SHALL cost me a fortune.

Couple of predictions about that phone:

                            Talk-time: 60 minutes. Tops.
                            Camera: 3.2 MP AutoFocus.
                            Weight: 500 GMS.
                            Dimensions: 200 x 10 x 40 MM

This is highly noted to GSMArena. Why are you so keen on Nokia's display?

It's not the brightest amongst others. It's not the most saturated either. It's not that great in outdoor (as you always say). And no, its viewing angle isn't the best either. And NO, it doesn't have the best colors reproduction either.

You seriously have to compare side by side Nokia displays with SE 500i/W580i/K770i/W910i and Samsung U600/F550. Coz the newest SEs and Samsungs are clearly superior than all newest Nokia display.

Don't judge a display by only technical specification. We all knew Nokia made 16 M color display (which badly inferior to thos 18-bit displays by SE or Samsung).

I take this so seriously coz most customers can be tricked by any of your review of Nokia displays, which clearly is not the best.

This cell phone has the best stereo speakers there are. The speakers are loud, crisp and has the best sound quality. It is so loud that when holding the phone too close, your ears will hurt.
I don't see why the iPhone or any other music or connectivity phone gets a better score. The iPhone doesn;t even have 3G. This phone is the best and will replace any music player. It is a compact and excellent device.

Everyone-this is an amazing phone. It has the best features. I don;t see why it gets such a low score.
Stop complaining about the camera. 2 megapixels is more than enough for a phone. Cell phone camera will NEVER match the quality of real digital cameras. Face the truth. Cell phone cameras are for quick pictures.
Also, remember that this phone has Wi-fi b/g!
This phone will also replace any MP3 player.
                                      I would give this phone a 10/10.
