I've updated the firmware as soon as appears,but some time later it was removed from a website as there was no v21. So i'm stuck with it. The phone is no longer hackable. The only problem i have is activating my loudspeaker during the conversation. The loudspeaker option was assigned to the right soft button. Now it always says "handset", as if the loudspeaker is already activated. I have to go to options and choose "activate loudspeaker from there. Nothing serious but inconvenient enough. No more problems,man, except that.

The phone memory can be occupied not only by messages, photos, music, etc., but also by temporary internet files. If you have a third party file manager installed (Y-browser,Xplore, etc), go to disk C: and in the root of it find the folder "cache". Open it and delete all the files. Or open you internet browser and in options go to "clear privacy data" and choose "clear the cache". That's it! You've got your memory back. Simple as that.

well u guys need to delete all the send files in your message in box and make sure u store u'r stuffs on the built in memory not the on the phone memory, if the phone memory is full, its memory is full, its gonna say full, hit me up at demanie_2007@hotmail.com i'm on messenger

Abdul Gunner, 05 Mar 2009N81 8GB is an excellent phone, but I bought mine second han... moreDear just look the right hand of ur Mobile there is an arrow up and Down.Up increase the volume whereas Down arrow decrease the Volume u can adjust it urself.In this way u can cantrol the voice problem.
Just keep the volume of earpiece on Third last And Louder on Middle.Ur problem will be clear.

hi,i have a problem w/ my n81 8gb..the problem is my phone memory,,my phone say's full memory delete some data..i can't receive a message in my phone,even thou i use the mass memory..and all my songs is gone at the music player, ican only see all my song's at the file manager...their's one more problem in my phone...my PC can't detect my phone, when i connect it to the usb...pls..help me with this problem...

gka3000, 06 Mar 2009u mean the navigation button in the middle , no it doesnt c... moreoh i see... hm hahaha... yeah it'll turn colour unless i paint it with a brush. haha... u're a big joker la... hehehe... happy n glad 2 know u. haha... u're such a friendly person. hehehe... well...ur friend are so kind 2... haha... present u that phone as a gift. haha... erm...ok... since u said that the buttons are all made from plastic, will not turn colour and won't have any scratches, like the SE phone, hm... i trust in u then. haha... um...wat? u said that there's a roller 2 scroll up and down? hm... will that spoil easily ah? haha... sorry 4 asking so many questions about the phone buttons. haha... as u know i'm very particular with all the phone buttons cause i faced the 1st problem from my SE and i don't wanna face the 2nd problem again. hahaha... it makes me feel...hectic and sometimes quite reckless with the phone. haha... i love sms but sometimes it really made me fedup and it pissed me off when have to sms that time. haha... i love typing the buttons that are soft and smooth during typing message. hm... hahaha...

i own a nokia n81 8gb. the fon s excellent but recently i've sum prob wid it.. the keys r changing.. wen i press call disconnect button it shows delete, then when i take music player button(assigned right selection key) it goes to messaging or calender. it happens sumtimes only.. i went 2 a mob shop they said its moisture problem. does any1 face de same prob or know bout dis??

Hm... haha..... moreu mean the navigation button in the middle , no it doesnt change colors unless u get some kind of paint brush and paint it hahahaha ... its plastic and its all good , and the navigation button of n81 also got the navigator wheel around it that makes scrolling down and up ur music playlist and media gallery easy and fun , i got my n81 8gb second hand (and i got it free from a friend of mine just as a small present) its been almost two weeks and im loving it . (im no nokia sponsor & im loving both nokia and s.e. phones followed by samsung lg and motorolas so dont misunderstand) :-D

Hm... haha... oh so u got the same problem as me huh? haha... so how long have u been using the n81 phone? ok i trust in u but what about the cursor button? there's a...square button right? to press up, down, left, and right. hm... will that button change colour or have scratches on it? haha...

Abdul Gunner, 05 Mar 2009N81 8GB is an excellent phone, but I bought mine second han... morei dont understand what kind of question u asked back there like is it that ur getting loud sounds than u want in ringin tone or from the speakerphone or the top ear speaker ? u have certain options to level down the volume of such things inbuilt to ur phone ... anyway i suggest you do a hard reset to your phone before doing that backup all ur contacts and messeges and emails ... type in *#7370# when the phone restarts enter the country u live in for eg - usa (english language) and set date or time when it asks to then ur done and good to go ... all ur settings are default (back to original settings) and any viruses or corruptions that have been affecting ur phone have been removed good luck ...

N81 8GB is an excellent phone, but I bought mine second hand and it is giving me the problem of volume when ringing, but whenever I used earpiece, the volume will be too loud, pls can someone tell me what the problem is? Thnx
