Well...I ... moreu actually brought a w580 then bad move buddy we both are on the same boat cuz i brought a w580 3 months ago after 1 week the keypad got scratched they replaced it and took another month again it got scratched and damaged ... later on i noticed that everyone who owns a w580 faces the same problem ... and many have faced a signal problem in it ... i really love the looks of the phone but i will never recommend it to anyone ... lol ...
anyway moving on the n81 keypad is large and good enough for texting it wont give any problems trust me on this one ... no scratching or breaking buttons in it ...

i have a lil' problem with this phone. i bought it for second hand. the condition is 99,9% ok, only have a problem at messaging menu, it can't operate when i want to enter. can anyone tell me what is matter with my phone? i'm very glad if someone can give an answer. thanks a lot.

Does the N81 8gb have problems on keypad??? I'm very particular towards phone keypad. Haha... You know nowadays phone make not to last. I'm bougt SE W580i last year after CNY on Feb 08 and it gives me lots of problem. I've problem in pressing 4, 5, 6, and #. I've been repairing it for so many times already as I still have the warranty but now I still got the same problem in pressing # button. And erm...the navigator key have changed colour. I mean it turn rust because I kept pressing it. So I hereby wanna know does the Nokia N81 8gb having the same problem as I'm facing?

Hello every body , nokia n81 8gb is excellent ,
i,ve have a question , i have switch to mass memory, but then after use up to 3.9GB(music,game,image.video and themes). the phone unable to receive anymore data , as if i have utilize all the memory, i have to delete some songs or videos ,my usage of memory is 3422MB and free 4250MB , when receiving bluetooth the error msg showd not enough memory(sumthing like that). I AM APPRECIATE IF ANYBODY COULD HELP.TQ

nokia supporter, 27 Feb 2009hey there i wanna buy nokia n81 8gb for original... may i k... morethe phone is great ... the camera is a bit bad when taking photos in dark environments (it gives noicy pics in dark sourroundings) well so many camera phones are the same unless its a xeneon flash equipped phone model , but in day light its doing great so as the video recorder in it ... the 8 gb memory is outstanding so much space for music videos and n gage games ... its running on symbian series 60 so the phone got so many functions than any other phone and so many applications and games to be downloaded via the internet ... symbian phones supports the largest collection of mobile applications in the world ... the 3.5 mm jack is inbuilt which means instead of the original headset it supports headphones from ur pc mp3 player etc. it gives outstanding sounds through the dual speakers and on headphones ... the navigator wheel is very useful to surf through ur music library which will be very long in a 8 gb memory ... ill give the phone 9 out of 10 which means the cam is 2mp and it takes bad pics in night times (not like my sony ericsson k850i 5 mp camera with xeneon flahser and the led flash well its just a camera phone anyway) what you want is music and real mobile 3d gaming with large memory capacity and symbian with a 2 mp ok to use camera this phone is for u ...

well since the n81 8gb is a used one i got from my friend im facing a problem its that when i type a text messege and when i try to add contacts to the reciver of the messege when i mark up the reciver from my phone book it wont show the " ok " tab on the left side of the screen instead it just shows " back " on the right side of the screen so when i press the back it just goes to my typed sms messege and it wont show that the contacts ive selected have been added ...
anyone wanna help ...
and please tell me the latest firmware for this release ... ty

hey there i wanna buy nokia n81 8gb for original... may i know is there any positive and negative things about this phone? how's the camera? i heard that they said it's not clear. is it true??? and erm...what about the music? is it clear? is it lasting ah this phone? will it spoil easily? as i don't wanna waste my money cause it's quite expensive but if it's good, it's no harm and it's worth buying it. so...if u all are kind hearted, please let me know how's the phone like. please don't cheat me as it's hard to save money these days. econimic is bad u all know. so.....can i get the reply as soon as possible??? thanks for those who're really kind hearted

The camera speed(startup,shooting, zooming,etc) is quicker than my N85. it takes crystal clearer pics, and has better pic editor apps built in the phone than my N85. Its basically a sony cybershot camera with a phone on it. be weary, If you are a heavy texter, cuz the buttons on the k850i are so small and it gets annoying if u are a fast texter....the current firmware has no bugs on my k850i. its frozen up before, but so has my N85! the xenon flash works wonderful, better than the dual LED flash on the N85. the single speaker is much clearer on the k850i than the dual speakers on my nokia n85. it all depends what you are looking for in a phone. The k850i is the milestone of camera phones for SE. much better than Nokia. I like my N85 better than my k850i in many other ways, but thats a different story. I know you were asking about getting your N81 for the K850, but i figured the specs on the N85 are almost similar. My N85 is currently at Nokia for repair on the earpiece.. Google that issue. a lot of people are having problems with the earpiece on the new N85!!!!

5320 - yes go for it if ur a music fan who wants to hear music the whole day till u go to sleep
n81 or n81 8gb - go for it if u want uniq features good looks a slider style two stereo speakers a navigator wheel and a uniq ngage gaming expirience all in one great multimedia phone with a big screen

for me all the 2mp cams in those phones are of the same quality so ill go for the n81 8gb or n81

today i got a n81 8gb as a present from a friend of mine , i love the large storage capacity of it however im really disatisfied with its 2 mp cam while taking photos in night times or in dark environments , maybe its cuz im used to my s.e. k850i anyway look at the bright side its s60 3rd edition , plus a large amount of features . and a much much bigger display with a navigator wheel makes it fun to navigate through my music using it . the 3.5 mm input is so cool try out a different headset even a bigger sized stereo headset ur ears will get blown away by the sounds of it . i give this phone 9 out of 10 .

ok most likely you bought a reverse make of the phone from china ok so most of the feature are not there so u make have to do is have tht model flash then get the real features put on i would know i repair cells. and i'm from barbados...

is this phone model worth to be exchanged with a k850i ... i brought it brand new and my friends n81 8gb is used as hell it got scratches all over it ... and above all the n81 got symbian but my k850i got too much of a powerful camera (5mp with xeneon flash and autofocus) and i found out that the speaker of the k850i is making so much sound than the n81's stereo speakers ... i must make sure i wont miss my k850i ...
