well the if the phone says memory full then delete something from your phone memory... make some space equal to more than the memory occupied by that song...

moey , 19 Nov 2008i have n81 8gb ... i have used 663 mb of the mass memory an... morei have aslo having same problem .but my friend solve my problem..just go to main menu.click on options , click settings..there will be option of changing the default storage device...check it ..you will find it..

I have nokia N81 8GB hand set,
i have enough memory left in the mass memory but when ever i tried to transfer the data via bluetooth it prompts me saying that memory too lw on your system,
Now i am not able to Receive/Send message,
pls help!!!!!!!!!!!

Your Mobile Memory Should Be More Than the memory of Song Moey i.e. you should have 8 mb free of your phone if u r sending 7.5 mb of song from blue tooth if any body wants the games then sanjaynamuna@rediffmail.com

As this is a Symbian smartphone, all files, whether it's a text messages or files received via bluetooth, are going to messages, but not directly to the mass memory. This handset has a phone memory along with your 8gb. So, thinking logicaly, you need to check the phone memory first. It's obviously full. To empty it, save your files already received via bluetooth to the mass memory and delete them from messages. Transfer pictures, video, music etc to the mass memory. Clear the cache of your web browser. After you did all that do the simplest. Go to Messaging/Options/Settings/Other and change the Memory in use from the phone to mass memory. And never again save or install anything on the phone memory if you want the device to work fast and stable.

i have n81 8gb ... i have used 663 mb of the mass memory and still have 7009 mb free , but everytime i try to send music to my phone using bluetooth , i recieve a msg of full memory and that i have to delete some data first .... how to use all my mass memory and how it is 8 gb and cant store that much plz reply ......

Recently purchased N81-2gb as 8gb is no longer available now.The phone looks amazing its too stylish and attractive,build quality is good and sound is enough loud,too crispy clear.navi feature is superior and music keys are very helpful.Camera quality not gud,well its not an camera phone .if its had an gud cam than why wud anybody go 4 an N96...similar looks.
the unlock switch feature is hard to find in other phones. A 2.4 inch scren is upto the marks with extreme graphics.The Phone has N-gage Gaming and a gud battery backup.Overall the phone is very gud and hard to find within 14000.far better than 5610 and n95 if compared lookwise.Mind it ,it is an 27 k phone (when launched)

I just bought the phone and I ejoyed using it cos it is one of Nokia's greatest..
N81 is the best within the N series to my opinion and the wonderful internal 8GB tells it all. Thanks..

I can't send Txt msgs cuz it says that my memory is full... Bu that's not true.. I already deleted some stuff, cleared my private data after browsing and i deleted all my text msgs!

It has Nokia maps application (you can download actual maps and navigation help over the air by wifi or GPRS automaticaly by browsing the place you are going to). But there is no build in GPS chip. To connect to the sattelite and to see your actual position on the map you will need external bluetooth GPS receiver. Thats not bad 'cause you are going to have much faster and more stable communication with a sattelite, and save the battery on your phone. External bluetooth GPS receivers are the size of a matchbox, so it's not a problem to carry it.

Does anybody know, who have used this phone, if it has GPS (MAPS) in it for navigation? Somebody who is using it, told me that this phone does not come with it. Please reply if you know about it.
