Hi all,
I have been trying to connect my N81 8Gb with a 'Parrot easy drive' handsfree bluetooth car kit.
The car kit is a couple of years old but worked fine with my old Samsung. I was able to successively pair the N81 with the kit, and it connects automatically when i get in the car, however about 10-15 seconds later it automatically disconnects and won't reconnect.
Has anyone else had similar problems with either this kit or other bluetooth devices disconnecting?

employee at nokia, 15 Sep 2008n78 n79 n85 are all feature pack "2" which has sveral prob:... morethose problems you posted only apply to n78. that's a firmware related problem, not a FP2 problem. n96 which is also FP2 does not have problems like those. n85 and n79 are not even out and for sure will not have problems like that.

1. Sometimes Loudspeakers doesn't work while making calls
2. The Zoom Key in The CAmera Sometimes don't respond
3. The albums in The Pictures Application sometimes LAGS.
4. THE MULTIMEDIA MENU doesn't have video menu!!!!
5. Real Player LAGS EVERY TIME!!!!
6. Sometimes Voice Recorder dont respond!!

Guys... n78, n79, n85
are all symbian os9.3 "feature pack 2" which have serious problems in Much Things
it is slower then feature pack 1
it lag when multi-tasking the music player with anything else!!!!
IT HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH """REAL PLAER""" it plays sound without pictures
AND NOKIA DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT
IF U DON'T BELIVE ME GO TO NOKIA FORUM AND U SEARCH FOR IT!!!!!!

If you cant find the N81 then yes rather get the N85, it is the N81's successor after all. :-)

thanks tsepz.. but i think i am changing my mind to buy n85 instead. but its still not available here in the philippines. i am trying to contact my relatives at singapore if its available there. but im still thinking and im really frustrated to have n81 now.
I went to the mall just a while ago and sad to say that stalls does not have an available stock except for the nokia store only but it has 25% times the prices on retail stalls.. :(

I still have my N81 8gb (don't want to change it for anything else) along with G900 and love them both. N81 is much faster than SE better wifi and so on, but SE is more complicated thus more interested in usage for me.

this is a very heavy phone and the sliding mechanism is not that reliable than that of the n95 i'll dump this phone and the transfer of music via mass storage is way too slow...not recommendable...

Ugly colours? The N81 is a beauty in ALL 3 Colours. But i guess you've been brainwashed by that SE G900.
