Ledger 041908, 02 Aug 2008I bought N81 8gb,after 3 days of using it,it started to han... moreit does not necessarily means you've got a defective unit if your phone hangs. it's normal with symbian phones to hang. msybe you just need to update the firmware to the latest version.

I bought N81 8gb,after 3 days of using it,it started to hang. Since i was b.c with my wokr i didnt able to go to the shop from where i bought my mobile and i just went there after 6 days from the date i have the phone.I want them to replace my phone with the same unit but they didnt coz according to the staff they cant sell anymore the mobile coz it almost 6 days to me. he told me that if I returned the mobile after 3 days maybe they can repalce my mobile coz they can still sell it, but if after 6 days it can't be. Well, my point is... Shops dont need to sell again the defective phones which was returned by the customer no matter how short they use it coz if they sell it again, the next customer who will be getting or buying the returned phone will be suffered....I was thinking maybe the phone which i have bought from _____ shop was just returned buy a customer that is why even i used my phone with full care it hangs after 3 days and now it's still hanging,,,Just an advice for some selected mobile shops, please dont sell returned mobiles especially those expensive units.

celladik, 30 Jul 2008As for MUSIC!!! which is greater N81 or N91?as a music phone and as a complete package n81 is better than n91. n91 only edges out n81 in audio quality. n91 has better sound quality via 3.5mm jack, louder and has more bass. well, n81 and n91 share the same dedicated audio chip in the first place. but n81's inferiority of sound quality to n91 can be attributed to n81's having "EU VOLUME RESTRICTION" in it, as well as its music playe's s5-band equalizer only. set aside n91, n81 has best audio among all nseries. n81 is also overall better than n91.

I bought the phone in january 2008 too, and some problems did appear, but lasted a week only, 'couse i have upgraded the firmware as soon as i could. Up to now everything is perfect. Do not complain, please, everything depends on you knowledge.
