Thats true, i doubt they will implement TV-OUT though, even the N78 does not have it. Have you seen the video of N81 running this new FW? It looks amazing! I cant wait until this update is available for the rest of us.

Yep ive also used a i450, a friend of mine got it two months ago. Its sound is great but the N81 is still better. The i450s UI looks disgusting and way too plain,its as if theres something missing. The i450 Music player can't display Album Art and its not as good looking as the N81 Music player, plus games like Assassin's Creed that work smoothly on N81 tend to lag and drop FPS on the i450, it also has low RAM: 20MB on start-up whereas the N81 has 43mb and will have more after this new FW update. With this new FW the N81 is now even more better than the i450. I realy don't see the point of people buying the i450 over N81, the N81 costs a little more but gives FAR MORE bang for the buck.

BTW the Symbian implementation on i450 is one of the worst I've ever seen (no pun intended)

No. The N91 and N81 has better sound quality. The N91 has an edge since it was not implemented w/ the EU volume restriction law.

The brand new N81 FIRMWARE Has been released for some generic product codes!! The new V20.0.056 firmware brings:
FlashLite3.0
Web Run Time Widgets
Demand Paging for improved RAM memory management and battery consumption management
The new firmware also brings the flashy new Menu Animation and Transitions from the new FP2 (Feature Pack2) of N78 and N96!
And some bug fixes and other improvements!
This is why NOKIA kept us waiting, they were preparing all this for us, and its all finaly here!!

Thats true,even as an N81 owner i see that. For some VERY strange reason the N81 price when i bought it was lower than its current price. I got mine for R4200 (the 8GB was R5500 at this time) from a local network,sim free, unlocked, a few weeks after release. Now 6months down the line all the networks here have it and all are selling the MicroSD version (mine) at R4700 and the 8GB at R5700.

here in the philippines n81 8gb and n82, the price of both phones are almost the same, n81 8gb about 17k, n82 about 19k. what amount of big money are u paying for n81 8gb? are the naviwheel, music keys, gaming buttons and 8gb memory really cost it almost the same as n82? i used to like it. but im now starting to dislike it. for its price, you can already buy a 5MP camera phone that shoots video in VGA resolution at 30fps, plus HSDPA and GPS, which are more important than those fancy naviwheel and music/gaming buttons. im talking about 6220c. n81 8gb is unbelievably more expensive than 6220c. n81 8gb wouldve been reasonable to buy if only it has 3.2MP camera at least, just for that feature! a phone with only 2MP camera should not cost 17k or 400 dollars!

I like my new phone. Its fells good, and just love the navi wheel when im browsing music, picture etc. Got the new firmware, and had some probs with my downloaded prg. But after a while i crackd it. I think this phone fells more IN then the N95. Its looks better and its not so big. GREAT PHONE ! A++

I am thinking of getting the N81 8GB.
I would like to know about the 'touch-sensitive' navi-wheel.
I went to an electronic shop to get hands-on experience with the N81 8GB but i couldnt get the touch wheel to work.. Does it work for every situation or does it only work on some 'nokia' softwares? Or is it just simply a hard 5 way button but when pressed in circles it would move??
