If i wanted an iPhone i would have pre-ordered it for my contract upgrade but its missing too many basics and i can get a much better device at the same price. :-)

Phones nowadays are a statement of social class. If you want to stand out in a crowd, go get the iPhone. If you want to be just an ordinary face in the crowd, go get any Nseries.

Anybody has the new firmware upgrade?
Is there any noticeable improvement in RAM processing and battery life?
I wouldn't want to 'hack' my phone, because it would void my 3-year warranty.
Can anyone share their experiences?

NOKIA like any other company need to have a variety of high end mobiles, N95-the Original Multimedia convergance device, N95-8GB an improvement of the original, N82 Imaging, N81 Music and Ngage Gaming and the N96 for Video and DVB-H. If you were smart and had done your homework you would have noticed many differences between those phones,and who they are aimed at. NOKIA have ALWAYS made a DVB-H device in every generation of the Nseries, the N96 the current generation DVB-H device, its a very good variety of devices, unlike SE who have remade the W800 and K800 OVER AND OVER again with different names.
The next gen NOKIAs are going to be touchscreen, NOKIA WILL launch the N85 and N79 to keep the excitement and will finaly launch their Touch devices. Next time think before writing crap. Thanx.

If there was one, then what would be the purpose of having a competition between the mobile phone producers??
It's a great phone for music and games. You can also add some applications to add the functionality of the phone, since it uses Symbian OS.

hey ...im planning to get a n81 ..can any existing user help me out ..im planning to use it for 18 months ...im getting it for $334 ..is it a good buy ..n many ppl have said that the cell hangs a lot and the paint comes off ..is it true ..pl reply asap ..

Nothing new at all
N96 is basically a N95 with DVB-TV and 16GB, Nothing new there we seen 8GB
N82 is a N95 with Xenon Flash - they could of done that in N95 in the first place
N95 8GB - Improved N95-1
Basically Nokia has run out ideas.., so that means Not many good new phones from Nokia

why some people prefer i450 over n81? because i450 has better built while n81 is cheap plastic all over! that simple!
