hi guys..i have a problem. I just got the phone yesterday and i am trying to receive songs through bluetooth, i received 4 songs and on the 5th it says, no enough memory but everytime i check the memory status it still has alot of memory space. I guess it was the phone memory used but i dont know how to use the mass memory. Please HHEELLPPP!!! thank you

I would rather buy a separate GPS module than rely on a phone that would give only mediocre performance.

Yes, the N95/N82/N78 have built-in A-GPS receivers, but they're not as good as stand-alone GPS receivers.
As of yet, no phone/PDA can perform as good as a stand-alone GPS.

N81 excels in it's category as a phone and MP3 player, for MUSIC and GAMING.
IMHO, the N81 is as good (if not better) than most stand-alone MP3/MP4 players out there. In fact, it could easily be one of the Top 10 music players today.

Yea man,tha N78 is sick...i caught a glimpse of it in tha virgin mobile catalogue-its about 5400rand while N81 is 4000rand. i am utterly confused on which to get N81 or N78 and thats why im stalling on purchasing either 1 yet. i love N81s design but tha N78 features are just too daym good... You can try that BUT you will have to Navigate the phone to the street you're on, it would be a very inconvinient thing to do. So no you can't realy navigate without a BT GPS reciever, MOST people here in SA buy these BT GPS Recievers for their N70s, 3230s, 6680s, N73s, N81s, N90s etc. . . . And keep the BT Reciever in the car, thats what im going to do when i get my car end of this year. Im getting a N78 in July BUT i prefer using a BT GPS Reciever because it has a MUCH better signal than the phones with built-in GPS unit.

Ayo man, today I was playing around with my friends N82 and the Nokia Maps Application is very useful ay. Phones like tha N95, N78 and N82 have internal A-GPS(Assited GPS) modules embedded in the phones but for example N81 and N73 dont have this BUT THE NOKIA MAPS APP IS AVAILABLE FOR THE N81 AND N73.
My question then is: is it possible for the N81 to perform GPS tasks in the Nokia Maps application WITHOUT AN EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH GPS MODULE? Because in my opinion shouldnt an internet connection be enough for GPSing... And if then the answer is that N81 GPSing is not possible without the External Bluetooth GPS Module then doesnt this render the inclusion of NOKIA MAPS APP USELESS?!?!? I MEAN HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE SERIOUSLY GOING TO BUY AND CARRY A SEPERATE BULKY GPS ACCESSORY AROUND FOR QUICK NAVIGATING?!?!?

I presently own a sony ericsson k800i. I find the camera quality during the day lacks contrast. At night, the camera performance is average with high tendency to be blur even with image stabiliser. Xenon flash does not work wonder for distant night shots. How is the camera performance at night for the N81? is it acceptable? does the photos taken at night get blur easily. My present k800i has only an average sound quality through the loudspeakers and the volume of the loudspeakers is quite soft. How is the quality and the loudness of the N81's loudspeaker? Thanks in advance.

NO the N81-8GB is not better than the normal N81 mainly because the N81-8GB is slower at accessing Data in the mass memory than the Normal MicroSD N81, ALSO with the normal N81 you are able to get 8GB MicroSDHC mem cards for very low prices, AND SOON 16GB MicroSDHC memory cards.

N81 8Gb is much better than N81. First, it already has 8Gb of internal memory so no need to spend extra bucks for a memory card. Second, N81 8Gb mocha color variant doesn't look cheap like the N81 blue variant.
to kPUc, I doubt if you really had this phone!

I just bought it online, used it for 5 minutes, and i am shipping it back, even though it'll cost me $75 restocking fee from the company. It is sooo bulky, and its made of plastic, after using it for 5 mins it gets very hot and almost burns your hand. Also the plastic body makes cracking noises when you type. ooh, and did i say its BULKY and SUPER HEAVY! it feels like you have a stone in your hand. Tsk tsk tsk nokia!

people at nokia probably designed the perfect phone with every feature at the very begining, then when they want to release a new set, they just trim down some of its features..and so, N73, N81 and such are born
