That NOKIA site is full of mistakes, N81 records at QVGA 15FPS, GSMArena are right. NOPE for us we don't get any free games, all the First Access and Full Version are trials, but a few have been cracked.

you don't have a virus this is a common problem with the n81. Nokia used cheap connectors for the device and with time the buttons sink and become 'touch sensitive' people are calling it the iphone effect. Be careful as it also happens to the call key and symbian key and after a while it will get difficult to open the menu as the phone will think you are pressing the call key and vice versa when you are answering calls. I would highly suggest you send it to nokia care and ask for a full replacement as the phone tends to have other wobbly slider problems etc in certain (most) models. Search the internet and you will see the amount of people sending them in and just getting full replacements, especially on slider and naviwheel issues. Good luck.

hey guys...i wud also like to know the comparison between the n81 and the w960i...isnt w960i 26k?? thts like 9k more than the n81!!

hey guys....i'd really appreciate if someone wud help me with this...
i want this phone...but the 2 MP cam is a little off....i mean for the price of this phone, it shud have had atleast a 3.15 MP...
but howz the camera?? is it really bad?? i am also looking at the 5610 which has a 3.2MP cam....and is abt 5K cheaper....but i love the looks of the n81....
any kind of help is appreciated....thanx guys

To Tsepz, Jon2 or Anyone who owns the N81
Im confused because on the GSMArena N81 Review they say that the mobile can record video footage up to QVGA quality but on the Nokia website they specified up to VGA quality...Since you have the mobile in your possesion can you please tell me the truth: can it record video up to QVGA? VGA? and another question,do you get any free games from N-gage for your N81...I know that in the pre-installed N-gage First Access application 3 game demos are present: the Asphalt 3, FIFA08 and Space Impact Lite demos...but are there complete games that you get for free without paying dow? because I heard that N81 Owners European and Asian countries were given a free Creatures Of The Deep game with the completed N-gage app download... what about us in South Africa?

is it possible to download viruses! i have an N81 8GB and the end call button-[the red 1] has gone funny. it's gone kinda touch sensitive and i hav NO IDEA wots goin on. is ANY1 able to help. i'd appreciate it a lot

To Hemanth / others-- Hi . How is the video playback ? Is it not good ? In the specifications , its said that , its qvga , which is wonderful , coz i m using 5700 , and even thats qvga video rec/playback. So , in that case , n81 must have gud video playback. Isnt it ? So , wht do u say bout it ?

To Chaitanya-- Ooh..thats cool brother. Thats really a fantastic price. I took 5700 for 11500 in jan this year , and if i would hv waited for 3 more months , i would hv got n81. Anyway , bt i m happy wit 5700 and i would luv 2 switch over to n81 at the earliest. By the way , are u using n81 ? Or , yet to buy ?

If you want to type messages or take pictures on this phone then this is the worst choice ever... i bought it and sold it in the next day. very irritating for typing messages. other than that the phone is very good but the keyboard is really horrible. thats all

Oh well, my N818GB does it great! W960 users should be filled with remorse!
Overall good user interface, features, everything!
W960's only advantage is its 3.2MP camera. That's it! That's all! 'Nuff said! No contest!
It's like pitting a Horse (N818GB) to a Donkey (W960)! Hehehehe!

this is the best phone i hav ever owned so far. its a good browser and music player. i also hav alot of games on it that i download straight from the net.
the problems i have is that although it looks visually appealing, the built quality could be much better, it feels cheap when its in ur hand because of all the rackles u feel and hear sometimes. i owned the Samsung U600 before i bought this phone and i must say that the samsung does feel alot more solid in ur hands.
also if its a camera phone ur looking for then this is not for u. i would suggest the samsung u600 or the sony ericson k810.
overall as i said this is still the best phone i owned jus wished it came with a better camera set up like the one on the N73, then it would be the perfect phone.

Hi All,Bought a new N81 8GB phone recently.Hats off to Nokia.The phone really rocks.
Pros:

Cool Design, Good Interface,Music Output superb(both external and ear phones),WiFi enabled,N-Gage loaded,Good Batt Life.
Cons:

Decent Cam(2 MP)
Navi Wheel's touch sensitivity is not that good.(Not even near to iPhone/iTouch/iPod)
Phone restarts while music transfer thru PCSuite.:( Does any one face the same problem?
Video output not good.
If you are looking for camera and video then dont go for this phone.
Its good for Music,Internet,Gaming and Normal Photography(Indoors).Music and the player s/w is too good.
