h0wever, "hyping" up a "first-access" n-gage device WITH0UT it being able t0 be FULLY CAPABLE 0f wut it pr0mises t0 d0, f0r me - is a J0KE.
hell, this ph0ne is UP THERE al0ng with the iPh0ne as being an 0VERHYPED pr0duct. L0L!
waiting f0r F0UR M0NTHS f0r "pr0per" n-gage games t0 be available and lacking a 3D graphics chip w0uld make me seri0usly think THREE TIMES bef0re spending my m0ney 0n this n-gage "device." L0L!

Comparing a Zen to N81 shows how little you know about this device.
N81 has better sound quality than some stand-alone MP3 players, especially a Zen.
Just about every audiophile knows that Creative has crappy audio hardware.

The N81 is a great Music and Gaming phone, can't blame the haters for hating. Lol how can 6600 play the games you numpty! Its a S60v2 phone, it only plays THE OLD Ngage-Classic and Ngage-QD games, any with a CPU faster than 170mhz can. Once again you've shown how little you know LOL! Your one snaaks oak ay.

Lol NOKIA had said that OTHER NOKIA S60V3 phones will support the Ngage games you numpty, read the Ngage Q&A Discussion,the difference being the N81 and N96 have Gaming keys which once you play the games in Landscape you will realise you need. Try playing Asphalt 3Street Rules in Landscape on a N95-8GB and N82 and you'll see.
LMAO! Its so funny that you know so little,makes your posts entertaining for example the 3D Graphics Chip in N82,E90, N93, N93i, N95 and N95-8GB is there for Video recording and high quality image processing its NOT required for Ngage games since they only require Software acceleration which the CPU can handle very well on its own while that 3D graphics engine gathers dust.
The only games made specificaly made for that GPU were Global Race,and System Rush which now is in Ngage and plays just as well on N81 as it does on a N95.
Even the N96 has said to not be using a GPU since its not necessary.

i feel that the n73 music and 5610 hav better sound quality as they are louder than n81 any comments??

this ph0ne is a J0KE. aside fr0m N0T having "pr0per" n-gage games @ the time 0f RELEASE n0w n-gage games are "playable" with 0ther ph0nes/platf0rms.
YES, u d0nt even NEED the n81 t0 "play" ngage games. even the SIEMENS SX1 can PLAY n-gage. L0L!

hey guyz, A proud owner of n81 8gb.
The music quality is out of this world.
But having some problems.
Cant tranfer files via bt more than 18 mb size bcause phon memory is only that.so can i cause the tranfered files to directly go to the mass memory & thereby tranfer larger files.
Navi kinda slow while going through the music.

Dam it just keeps coming YES the original NOKIA N95 IS MILES AHEAD OF THE UPCOMING G900! Lol oh and W910 is THEE BIGGEST JOKE OF A MUSIC PHONE IVE EVER SEEN! Very true, i love the feel of N81 it feels A LOT sleeker and more solid than a friend's N95-8GB. Although i like the rubbery back cover of N95-8GB.

there is a problem in my phone,the multimedia menu in this phone is supposed to have 7 tiles then why do i have only 6,is there a problem in my phone or is there a setting that it would make it seven plz anyone reply

Had the phone for a little over a week. My opinion of the phone - It's a good phone. My previous phone was SE W700i, so I'm still adapting to the Nokia operating system.
Like many people, I was deliberating between the N81 and N95 (8Gb versions). Without getting into the specific technicalities of each phone, The only significant difference between the 2 phones is the camera. at the end of the day - if you want good quality pictures, use a digital camera not your
phone.
I also prefer the design of the N81 over the N95. I think the latter looks a little chunky.
I would not have any reservations about recommending this phone.
