my dream phone, NOKIA N81 8GB! i dont need the n82 or the n95 or the n95 8gb or the n96.. just this n81 8gb.. this is all i need and want.. dont need accelerometer, 5mp camera, gps.. just 8gb of memory for my songs, audio chip and stereo speakers for great sounds, 3g, wifi, and s60 3rd ed. fp1.. thats all i want! my dream phone! but sadly, i cant buy it.. i dont have money.. so i guess it will all be just a dream :(

I just have bought this cellphone last Sunday, 16th of March this year,. I was so amazed with the features it provides to its users. Music Player at its best, N81 8GB provides 8gb mass memory space for us users to fill in some 5000+ songs in it. Playing games is really a great experience because of its keys specifically made for gaming purposes. Alot of ssurprises are still unmentioned its up to you to deliberate your own opinion in this. But for me ats really a package (N81 8gb = cellphone+ipod+mp4player+wifi+etc.).

Hmmm. . . . .i give up,i don't understand why people still judge S60 according to what they experienced in a 3-4yearold s60v2 N70, N90, 6680 or whatever.
Anyway the N81 is a great well rounded Nseries, yes it doesn't have a GPU, Accelerometer, flashy UI that my 7yearold bro would love,5mp cam or whatever else rock says but if you don't need that then N81 is great, but if you want all that go get that amazing iPhone,its so perfect and best phone out for anyone,listen to rock his correct, a old 6600 can take newer s60v3 Ngage games, DON'T LISTEN to the reviews that say iPhone isn't user-friendly,its THE MOST USER FRIENDLY device out,it's so cool cause everyone says so,AND it's popular so you will look "cool",yes get the iPhone! Even has Video recording, Java, and even lets you set your own ringtones and send MMS! Get the iPhone people,listen to what rock says!! He has tested the N81 and every other phone and knows what he's talking about!
Go Rock! Please tell me can the iPhone run MXit, can it run over 10apps at once, and if i can tactile feed back from it? Also will it print pix straight from it to a printer? Also i like to download via 3G and HSDPA can it do this? Im assuming since iPhone is so much better than N81 in EVERYTHING it can do all the above, i wonder why so many NOKIA and HTC users haven't moved to iPhone, do you know why? I mean since iPhone is so great i thought we would see NOKIA AND HTC loose marketshare?

Whatever. Let the person decide which phone he/she wants to buy. If he/she wanted N95-2, then let him be.
Besides, our argument is pointless, since you said before that you never tried the N81. This conversation is over.

Yes, it is. If you can't see the similarities in the design, you must be playing blind. N96 borrowed the design of N81 and the dual-slider and features of N95.
And umm... The N96 also has gaming keys. LOL!
Do your research before you try confusing anyone.

FLV3, GPS, 5MP CAM, dedicated music keys(if anything l0l), a much BIGGER screen, a 3D grafx chip, ACCELER0METER, n-gage c0mpatibilty, etc2.
since ur ALREADY spendin' THAT MUCH - y n0t add juss a lil' bit m0' and get an "all-in-0ne" device that can ACTUALLY play n-gage gamez decently due t0 its 3D grafx chip!!! L0L!

iPhone rocks kind off i tested 3 of them now, the only thing i see good in it is the Touchscreen and the Display !
the rest is........simple
N81 8GB = Great Phone
N95 8GB = Next Level !

Yes,N81 can read out the callers name to you, and it can read out your Messages for you as well just like E65.

ok have the nokis e65 and when someone rings it lets me know whose calling without looking at the phone ( very handy ) does this have the same function to do this?... thx in advance

In my opinion the Apple iPhone would have been perfect if Apple had just added 3G/HSDPA, 3rd party app support in the beginning, better camera UI,flash, and Java support. Its got a lot of potential

Oh yes! And i CAN watch YouTube on my N81, CorePlayer and emTube make great FLV players. I can stream via WiFi OR 3G or just download and watch later.
Tell me how does your iPhone stream when you're not near WIFI? Lol! Must be interesting to stream via EDGE LOL!

Lets see my N81:
It can send MMS
It can Copy&Paste text
It can Transfer Data via BT
It can connect to my PS3
It can give tactile feedback
It can Record video without 3rd party app
It can take upto 32GB Memory cards (getting 16GB soon)
It can download via BOTH Wifi and 3G (cute lil iPhone only got WiFi. . .awww)
Its easy to replace its battery
When i got it i could use immediatly without having to connect to iTunes like iPhone
Its got 3D dual stereo speakers
I can sign my own apps on it
Its OS rite now is more open than your lil iphone OSX
It can run Java apps
LOADS of available software ye and lots more.
The iPhones cute though has a 620mhz CPU which is a great amount of power for a crap phone.
You seem to forget that Symbian isn't as power hungry as WM, Linux and OSX so NOKIA can afford to fit in a nice ARM11 369Mhz CPU thats very power sufficient in this great Multimedia Computer.
Come back when your iPhone can give tactile feedback on its keypad!
Lol by the way im getting a phone with a GPU but at the end of the day theres no real use of one if the phone doesnt have gaming keys.
Ive got an iPod Touch coming soon, should arrive next weekend, ive tried a friends one its nice, but playing games on such a device aint a great idea! Good luck!
