This Zamile from Cape Town, South Africa. Ok, Nokia makers please pay attention: why so much space when u cant even store decent pictures? Your 2MP camera is embarrasing. I use my girlfriend's Nokia 6500 to take pictures as it's 3.2MP camera smacks down my N81. But other than that this phone is amazing. Great job on the screen & colours & a super job on the touch-sensitive wheel-motion option. Great phone overall. Peace

The N81 8GB has some great features,
likeas the built in 8gb memory, its acceptable screen size, its 16million colour screen, but most of all its amazing design.
However there are a few critics, they include its awful camera performance - 2mp camera.
No card slot, making life harder to transfer information between the device and other electronics.
No infrared connection, not deliberately needed - however the more features a device contains, the better its performance.

If you want a phone that looks like N81 w/ 5MP camera, then buy the N96. But of course, it will cost more, since it is a flagship device and build quality may be better

I think the N81 8GB sells for around $300-350 or something like that. Video formats supported are .3GP and .MP4, though you can play more video formats with the use of third party softwares (ex. Coreplayer)

cell phone look up is very nice but it camera is low 2 mega pixcel it shoud to 5 mega pixcel

they both took me to the 'Next Level' !!!!

look they n81 is a good phone, the best phones out are the HTC or the Blackberrys, ive got a n81 8GB and theres nothing wrong with it.

Yes, there is more than enough storage space for you to add all your data files (videos, pictures, documents) from N70 to N81 8GB.
The N81 is one of the best sliders Nokia has made. It's as smooth as E65 and Nokia 6500 slide.

BTW I won't be jumping into conclusions too quickly. Nokia most probably have something up their sleeves. The Aeon and N98 ain't too far away. Of course, they're buying their time to produce a phone that will eclipse the iPhone and N96.

I can not believe this..Still no touch screen..I was waiting from Nokia touch screen phones..So what is different between N95,N81 8gb and N96..Both same think..Wake up Nokia time to make touch screen phones..I never buy any Nokia phone anymore.. if you don't make it touch screen...

LMAO! You clueless man, Ngage First Access EXCLUSIVELY FOR US N81 and N81-8GB users came last week, playing demos? LMAO! A few trials have been cracked and are running well.
Asphalt3 Demo didnt even lag, i suggest you try before you talk, Asphalt ran smoothly and fast.
Yes they release phones so we can upgrade, im upgrading in July, thats the whole point of mobile tech growth you numpty, NOKIA don't announce phones that are high-end all the time, there are certain internal hardware differences that they put in to make a phone unique. NOKIA were bound to announce new phones at this time,the N95 was due for replacement.

I m Huge FAN of NOKIA & Sony....
