Oh okay then just try updating again but change product code to the Finland N81-8GB version.
Thats realy bad news about the D-Pad 8-( by the way it looks you'd think that it could take a beating from the gaming for the next 2years! Im shockd the paint has already peeled! Ah well,im getting another Nseries in July so im not too worried but its a shame for those who are tied down on a 2year contract with a device that may not make it through 3months of gaming.

hey everyone,can u please tell me whats the differents between the n81-8gb en die n81sdcard? does the the one with sdcard has more problems than the 8gb? or is it just the gbspace difference?

Music-wise, N81 wins hands-down.
Camera-wise, N73 wins hands-down.
Guys, I have some awfully bad news. The brushed metallic silver paint job of the Navi-wheel D-pad has begun to peel off, after trying out some N-gage demos and PicoDrive. Tsk tsk tsk.. a bit disappointed.
Hopefully, this is covered by Nokia Care warranty. But if not, tsk tsk tsk. I would be forced to abandon this unit.

Hi guyz ..
I need to buy a phone. I m a nokia user from the very beginning .
Was thinking about N81-8 Gb and N73M edition.
Which one of the 2 is better ?
What makes me think about N81 is the camera. It just 2mp cam with no lens protection. wat do ya guyz think ? is it gud quality one ?
Then N81 seems bulky. Dunno about the navigation and keypad , how r they ?
N73 M edition has an execellent camera , but just 2 Gb memory and the keypad seems horrible .
Tell me which one is better ?
any other apart from these 2 phones ?

Have you tried updating without changing product code? Since you're in Finland you may not have to.

Nope SE don't use any chips, thats why they don't have great instrument seperation, clear bass or great noise reduction,SE are jus loud and all over the place.

Just change the product code of your N81-8GB to Euro1 and update should install the latest N81-8GB fw. :)

I think Viper may be right there.
I updated my N81 8GB to v11.0.045 and later found out it was supposedly an update for the standard N81 (silly me).
My previous firmware for N81 8GB was v10.0.053.
So if anyone can help me revert back to the old firmware version, I'd be very grateful.

If you really like to know, N81 uses a more advanced DAC33 audio chip than any XpressMusic device. Plus 2 more audio chips, one for noise control and the other for low frequency control (bass reproduction). That makes a total of 3. 5310 uses only 1 chip: a smaller version of the DAC33 chip used on N81/N91. The smaller the chip, the lesser the sonic experience.
I think N91 uses only 1 chip. But it's a very huge one.

Yeah, im not biast i like Nokias aswell i know Samsung and SE aint at Par with Nokia in terms of Specifications but thats becuase Nokia makes the all-rounder phones!
how come 5310 sound quality isnt the same as N81 ? please tell me i would like to know.!!!!!!
