i've been upgrade my firmware from v31 to v35... so far just little different with my older firmware before.. but i think if u hv the older version. just try it coz my phone more powerfull than before lke camera more detail and speaker more loudly.... warm regard 4m me...

i think n82 is one of the best phones nokia has ever done....simple but classsic.

yes it is. u can get better performance upgrade with this latest firmware. the firmware process is a bit difficult for nokia newbies but trust me, u can feel better performance after the firmware update compare than previous firmware.

masterplan, 23 Dec 2009jst got an N82,hw can i update the firmware?@masterplan, u can update the n82 firmware using Nokia Software Updater. (must install on your pc) i'm install it using nokia dvd installer that I get from the box package of this phone. If not, just google it to get the installer. (u must have nokia pc suite and nokia usb cable during the update process) follow the step that nokia given before do the firmware update.
IMPORTANT!!
-please backup ur data on phone memory before update ur firmware to prevent data loss

Im already update to v35.0.002 firmware. and this some improvement that I can feel after the upgrade firmware process.
-better sound on mp3,radio & call
-font changing (even better than v31)
-more clip art added for photo editing
-better photo result (in my opinion)
-a little improvement on speed performance
-built in n-gage application and plus 2games (snake and block)(not sure if it full version or trial version but I uninstall it because I dont like playing game)
the good news is, u can still ha*ck it using hellox 1.03 & hellox 2. update at ur own risk! please backup ur important data before updating this new firmware.
p/s: good update for a legendary flagship smartphones ;)

Abhi, 22 Dec 2009Upgraded my N82 to V35 but no change can be seen in any way.I just ipdated to v35 and there us nothing new at all. It's still not fast and snappy like how the e71 is as the n82 is my secondary phone.
