N82 fan, 28 Nov 2009hi nokia_tec, tried d hard-format, But d bluetooth stil w... moreI think you have a bluetooth hardaware problem, it is not the first time we have seen this, many times bluetooth ic is changed. Pay a visit to the nearst nokia care center they should fix it.

i was also shocked to see that the speed is 204 mhz and not what gsmarena and other reviewer said.can u guys download that app and sees what it shows in ur mobile.

i dont care what processor n82 use, but i care about its response,,it never show "memory full" when i surf internet and run any application..thanx to 128ram..never restart like n95...hmm fab dont upset..our n82 not obsolete like other phone..it still can compete any new phone...

What i did was download te curent
OS n installed it on te phone
Was that what u meant by formating
Or was i jus updating te existing OS ??

refering to the prob... moreYou can do a Hard reset or format, and format you r memory card too, So every thing will be fresh.
For Hard format close the phone then hold * and 3 and call key (green key), power on the device and keep holding until the phone lets you select your country. best of luck!

Did you try the new processors, I am 100% sure you didnt, the N86 processor has better capapilites than the omap 2420 (both in processing speed and battery consumage) and i am telling you this.The camera processor is not te same in any of the previous nokia phones it is the best one to ever be used in a nokia phone. If you replace the N86 processor and copressor with Omap 2420 and DM290 the phone will run in a very low speed and the camera wont work. The evolution does what we need from it, and no need to talk about nokia new phones because they are state of art. Nokia has provided their new phones with single arm processors, Nokia technicians have chosen this, if you think your gifted einstein`s like mind thinks better than them kindly contact nokia and tell them what you think.

i hv the same problem too whereby i cant turn on
bluetooth application after upgrade to the new OS V31.xx
i even formatted it via *#7370# & reinstalled the
OS, but the problem is still there
the error "unable to perform bluetooth operation"
is ther any solution a layman like me
can do to solve this ?

They are all single chips. They are optimised on battery life not on performance. Don't confuse the 600MHz processor of E72 to the 600MHz processor of the N900. The 600MHz of E72 is the overclocked 369MHz of E71. It's faster but it gives basically the same mediocre performance. High-end multimedia and business phones nowadays like the N97, N86, E72 should contain the OMAP3 chipset, and not the underpowered Freescale chip no matter what MHz it is clocked on. But Nokia chose to do otherwise merely for battery consumption.

Dear Nokia tech, its nice to see you helping others in such a nice way. i'm using n82 from last couple of months. it has a problem the screen is so dull, i'm unable to see anything on screen while standing in sunlight. the other problem is i can shoot video using its cam but can't capture still photo. the moment i get it to camera mode it shows an error "unexpected error occcured.ower off thedevice & restart" i have done so many times the same but all in vain. plz suggest what should i try???

If multi tasking is good with no crashing i think you shall check compatibilty of apps you use.Make sure there are no apps running on background(some apps work and they are hidden).Personally I have never had proplems with 128 mb ram phones, i run quake 2 and other ram consuming apps on n82 and they work smoothly.
