I do often charging my phone when it's baterry life indicator shows 1/2 or 3/4, especially at the moment when I have to go far because I don't want my phone's battery was empty and I'm still far away from home. One more thing - it takes so long the indicator shows full but when the life meter decreased by one point it will drains again and again fastly. I has been using N82 for 14 months and it's still as good as the day I bought it except its battery. Thanks a lot Nokia_Tec and good luck.

Nokia N82 Is best phone for me n itz faster dan other I m using 8gb memory stick n itz working perfect without any error sounds goood ........

Btw, In my opinion N82 is the best dual core phone to ever be produced by nokia.
U know one thing The smaller the phone and the more features are packed; the better it is. Just some people have large hands and could not use candy bar phones.

- May be you downloaded too much stuff on your card, like apps and games, which made you spend more time using the phone! Make sure that apps do not use internet connection, or use specific features without you knowing about it.
- Check apps that run on background they consume extra energy.
- How long have you been using your phone? Did you change your batteries before? Check if your battery is original.
-Wrong charging habits, like chargingthe phone while the batteries are not empty, or storing batteris for some time and not using them.
- Generally batteries have estimated lifetime, if you feel that your nokia battery is not performing like before maybe changing the battery will fix it.

Hi Mr. Nokia_Tec. I had upgraded my N82's microSD to an 8GB microSDHC 2 months ago. This new memory card was really suit my N82...but now I 'm sure there's a problem with my phone's battery life, it seems the battery drains much faster than the time when it was equipped with 2GB capacity microSD. Please Nokia_Tec help me what's actually happens? Thank you very much.

I am not addicted to a specific nokia model, nor describing nokia model as a bad one.I respect everybody`s opinion, and I know people who prefer nokia 1100 than a 600 dollar nokia, So what i wanna say is that phones cannot be compared when it comes to opinion, just like food some people love junk food though a healthy meal has less calories.
My point is Posting Phone X is the greatest, Phone Y sucks is scintificaly called a fallacy. My theory is nokia models are like football players and nokia users are positions these players can stand at.
Do you play fifa, player`s rating will differ as player place is changed.
If you give an e-series businnes cell to teenager rating would go like 64 but when used by a 40 year busiinesman rating will go like 90. Some people love querty keyboards and some love cameras and some love web surfing, every nokia has unique features expressed at the right user.
Some people get in some sick arguments trying to prove that the things that they own is the best, this occurs due to unsatisfaction about what they own. They cant afford to buy what they really want so why not defend what they own. It is a classic uncorrect psychological behaviour. This is real story,i saw a ferrai and mazda at my street. The mazda driver was reviving his engine to red line, which looked like he wanted to race that ferrari, which sounded phsycologicaly wrong, that guy must`ve been
disturbed. Sommetimes People who can afford anything, just go buy wealthy expensive stuff to just prove that they are the best and what they own is the best.
Anyway, posting phone x is better than y is not descent is not descent. I know Y users would stand for their phone support it, but heres the truth if you really know that your phone is good then let it defend it self, I mean generally people know good phones, and whatever a phsycho will post, just ignore him, because it is not worth it, its an argument without a winner, you wwll waste your time on nothing, neither your defense will raise your phones at specification page, nor will his negative posts change your phones specs.Be proud with your selection.And this blog is for solving proplems and asking questions and gaining experince, so let it be a decent place.

CAN U DENY THAT N82 USES DM290 AS A CAMERA PROCESSOR? listen you beginner am speaking real things and i gave links.
Nokia stopped the omap 2420 cause it cannot match the 434 processor or the 600 mhz new processors. N82 is a legend of its time, BUT nothing stays forever.....Nothing.
The next time you want to show this forum your information it better be supported, i maean we cant just say X said the Nokia Y is the best, then y is the best.
I posted my opinions and facts, u can deny the opinion BUT not facts.

If the problem still persists, bring it to the nearest Nokia Care Centre.

Nokia_Tec, 21 Nov 2009Nokia has forgotten about cameras that`s why it has intoduc... moreMr. Nokia_Tec, I don't know what bl00dy shop you are working at but I do know one thing and it is still true up until now. The pictures produced by the N82 are far better than the likes of N85 and N79.
I have a friend who is working at the Nokia Care Centre and he pointed out clearly that the motherboard used in N82 and N95 can handle applications flawlessly, thus reducing the tendency of experiencing "hanging" problems or crashes.
The clockspeed is only true for processing speed but when it comes down to stability and reliability, the dual core ARM11 332Mhz is anytime better. So, do get your facts right before announcing the facts to the audience or else you will be viewed as a fool. No offense.

i think dual core is much better than single core
compare my n82 vs my friend's n79
i use 8gig memory,use space about 4.6gig still dont have problem like slow transition or stuck
but my friend's n79 just use 4gig..space use not more than 1gig but always experience "hanging" problem...not because he use heavy app,but just slide open the cam lens and also view gallery
