I don't know who used my nick CULIT21 but I am the real CULIT21 anyways I am using this phone for about 1 yr already had titanium now i have black.. I also had n96 and n85 but I am sticking to this phone cause this phone ROCKS!!!

big nooooooooo the n82 the better n79 not good ength bad cam and cpu not like n82 Dual ARM 11 332 MHz processor; 3D Graphics HW Accelerator
but n79 ARM 11 369 MHz processor u can make compare to see or goto www.jbenchmark.com to see who the better

cul... morei am not surprised at all if N82 stayed at d top for a while.
And culit, if u don't go for N82 den go N79 insted of N78. But N82 wud b d best choice.
I'm using my N82 ryt now 2 post hir and netsurf. Ds cellphone is powerful.

culit21 ur planning to go to n78 over n82? 3 megapixel over 5 mp? led flesh over xenon flash? you gott be kidding me!!!!

It's nice that they're coming here to comment on N82. Well, all i can say is that i really love my N82. I chose it cos i have asked the moderators on the forum section if N82 is better than other celpphones i have mentiones and they said the xenon flash really makes a difference as well as the dual ARMM that makes it more powerful. And well, ranking 4th is also a good indication that this cellphone is really a great phone.

First try to find the newest software that you installed onto. It might be some file manager replacement or something like that. Some betas of s60's have a special privileges to - you call for that - call to mothership;) in case that they will found some internal issues. Also you can forget about antiviruses. Frankly there is no need to use such a app.

RLAAMJR., 11 Aug 2009I haven't tried the maps feature yet of the N82. I woul... moreOpen the maps application and stand in a position from where sky is visible. The in built GPS chip will track 4 nearby satellites orbiting the earth and will calculate your position on earth. The same will be displayed on your phone screen provided the map for that place is available in your phone. My n82 takes about 2 minutes to find 4 satellites if I am standing. it might take about 4-5 minutes if u are in a moving car. The maps are very accurate.

Hello to all users i really need your help in updating my Maps, pls tell me how can i check the current version of my installed maps on my device (N82) and secondly how can i update my current maps to the latest version through directly using my mobile via connecting to the net????

Nokia has just unveiled a pretty interesting application for its camera phones, part of the Nokia Accessibility program and called Nokia Magnifier.
As its name suggests, the app acts as a magnifier for hard-to-read texts, using the phone’s camera. Furthermore, it features a built-in image stabilizer, as well as negative filter technology for enhanced readability.
Also, the software allows you to take pictures of any magnified text or image.
Nokia Magnifier was tested only on Nokia N95, Nokia N82 and Nokia E90, but it’s compatible with any S60 3rd Edition smartphone that has an auto-focus camera (however, user reports say it doesn’t work with Nokia N96, N85, and E71).

N82 is a nice phone with a sharp camera, i.e Good and kudos to Nokia. problem with mine is always logging on packet data, even if I disable it and also what can I do my anti virus Kaspersky has expired when trying to renew the license, it keep on showing license expired. Pls what can I do? Thnx

THINGS I LIKE ABOUT N82
1.Loaded with high-end features - It has 90% of the features the 2009 flagship device has.
2.Excellent camera and video - Very good image quality at all lighting conditions. Video recording is really DVD-quality.
3.Candybar - Compact and very robust.
4.Multimedia - Very convenient to use music player and video player. Plays back a wide range of file formats.
5.Internet and connectivity - Fast web browsing and downloading. Has a wide variety of connectivity options.
6.TV-Out - Very convenient and saves the small screen from disgrace.
7.GPS - Can replace a satellite navigation device.
8.Large number of compatible softwares - Can install a wide range of apps, games and themes.
THINGS I HATE ABOUT N82
1.Small dim screen - Very small screen which is very inconvenient in web browsing and watching videos.
2.Inadequate battery life - Battery life is great if you use it moderately, but abysmal if you are a power user.
3.Awkward keypad - Keypad is okay, but not user-friendly, especially if you are an SMS or Chat maniac.
4.Plastic casing - Very easy to accumulate fingerprints and scratches.
5.Poor speakers - Speakers' volume is low.
6.No LED flash for video recording - Video recording is useless at night.
7.Boring User Interface - Stable software but UI is very dull. There's no transitions, no further UI customisations whatsoever.
