i couldnt wait to get this and i used it for 9 months then got the iphone

screen gets stuffed and makes the 5 mega pixel pics crappy on ur fone

The phone z gud!bt The thing of not having Fm transmitter made it to b'cme low!its bst in its performance.Bt i think there got to be a Software for Fm transmiter.Does any 1 know where can i get the soft!I really like da phone,n I wna buy it,N82 cnt be cmpared with other Nokia phnes!Couse When it comes to phone that slide like N80 n N96,they lykly need great care and handling!So i recommend u get N82!Am gonna buy it even if it has no Fm transmeter,Bt any1 know soft for Fm transmitter!i will b glanda if he would help me!

Nick, 02 May 2009Guys, this phone seems superb, but would appreciate if some... morenothis phone is damm fast among all nseries and if u r upgrading from n73 then u will find this phone lighting fast.and as for the hang and freeze.there is no symbian phone which will never hang .it also somtime hang and freezes but not frequently but it depends upon the person who is using if u install loads of application and start them all then ur phone will hang.2.i donot use wlan so much therefore i cannot comment on it.but donot expect it to be as good as a laptop. 3.xenon produce enough light at night to bright up pictures.for clear noise free pictures use the flash within a range of 1 metre.and the result should be stunning.4.i havenot done that kind of measurement but i am a power user and my battery last for 7 hours.5.the box has battery,headphone,cd and charger.no drawback as long there is no malfunction of hardware in the device which u buy.

Guys, this phone seems superb, but would appreciate if someone could answer some of below:
1 Does the phone ever hang/restart or slow down as the N73 and other Symbian ones do ?
2 Does the WLAN work as efficiently in public areas as my laptop does ?
3 The camera is nice, but does the xenon flash produce enough light esp. in the dark that photos result good enough ?
4 How much does the battery last if the phone is used as a camera with flash - for example in a picnic.
5 What all contents does the product box includes ?
...Any other drawbacks ?

nippy, 01 May 2009does anybody encounter in wlan connection not available? wh... morenothing to do with your phone its all about cloud cover wlan on phones are not has strong has laptops if you get full bars your fine but if you get 1 bar it keeps disconnecting when you loaded up a page that what i fine with mine it really bugs me lol

Hi ya people wots happening Ive had my n82 now 8mths and ive had a cpl of hiccups on the way with bluetooth probs n etc but i still can say got threw it and still the best phone in every way any quests ask me thank DAZZLE...

for the fastest locking navigation, get Garmin. I've used Nokia Maps for almost a year and thought it was the best because that was all i've tried. but Garmin is just fast and dependable. for anyone who doesn't have Garmin for GPS navigation, i suggest you do some reading online and download it immediately

I just got this phone just a couple of days ago, and must i say i regret not getting this instead of the 5700xm. N82 is superb! it's got everything! good quality images produced by the camera, wifi, 3G, clear sound from the music player (either from speakers or headset), fast response when accessing the menus.. don't know what to ask for! i've tried browsing n79 already and its response is very slow. I think that's because of the transition effects on the themes / phone. didn't try turning it off though. Speakers of N79 are horrible too. well, those are just my opinions. cheers!

Frankly, the battery is not that great. half hour on n-gage, 1 hour surfing, 1 hour music and low already. I am using my N82 one year and 3 months now and NO complaints except on the battery.
