The best phone i ever had.Been with me for 3 1/2 years and still works fine.Its main feature is its 5megapixel camera(Carl Zeiss lens),up to par or even better than most new 8 megapixels shooters out there.Dropped it several times and unfortunately the lcd broke.So I had to replace it. had change the battery once.Nevertheless, the phone's main functions is still great. Only problem on for me with this phone is the gallery key, I always accidentally press it.My housing is already worn out and the problem is it will cause you a fortune to buy one.For me its like an swiss army knife, an all in one device.Very advance on its features compare to other high end phones of its time.I think this is the best and phone that Nokia had made.

Perfect phone nokia can re launch it with touch screen or dual sim capability

Keys are too small.
But the design and the camera kick Android phones really hard.
Didn't try N8, but N82 is the best Nokia I had so far.

In my N82 JAVA files are not getting installed.It stops/stuck installing while the process occure.,.can any one help me.,???
My earlier version was V30.,that time ,having the same problem.now updated to v35,still facing it.,!! what to do.,???

You can update n82 software easily.,.,first download NOKIA OVI suite.,install it in system,then connect phone using data cable in pc suite mode.There is software update option in ovi.,.click update.,.follow the step.,(never loss net connection and battery must have enough charge to complete the process).,then enjoy.,

is there a possibility that i can still update my n82 firmware right now?it's not updated when i bought my n82,it runs at v20.0.062.. i think that's old enough,but still works fine..can anyone advise me how to update now?thanks

Etuhu, 10 Jul 2011My friend told me that all of N Series Nokia phone got majo... morevirus transmitted thru phones via bluetooth is not an issue, if you recieve a notification that a device will share a file to you, and you doubt it's origin, then don't accept the pairing and connecting of your bluetooth..i have this phone and doesn't have that virus problems..it's 4 years already and still it doesn't lag and it is still fast and way better than the new touch screen phones.i can say that the camera of this phone is superb,next to n8's camera..

The reformatting is an issue I have faced but if a set have a good internal memory it can fare more than an year without a reset.

The best nokia phone i ve ever used. Still my primary phone. covered my entire US, Las Vegas trip with this as my primary camera. the nokia n82 has all my memories framed.
Still have not been able to get a replacement today. Have bought the n97 mini, BB curve and the arc after this, the n80, n72 before this. But the N82 remain the favorite.
Best nokia ever.
