This is a wonderful phone. I've had mine for two weeks, battery life is excellent.

very bad design almost ugly
every nokia n series have repeaty design and TIRESOME n95 n96 n85 6600 ...
n82,n79, 6220 ...

RBa, 02 Apr 2009Me too. The coating near the camera lens and xenon already ... moreit must be because the silvers were just painted, beneath the silver coat on the DPAD was black, so in time when all the silver paint peels off, it will still look great.
im worried about the back part because if it will peels of even more, the signs will be detached as well and beneath that is a white dull plastic c",
you have a weird peel off the soft key dude, you must have press it to hard.

iolo003, 01 Apr 2009yeow dude, I've tried g-masked before on my 6233 and it was... moreyep dude, all are covered except the sides of the screen, coz it has no edge. Theyre afraid dat they might scratch the casing. It wil be mor beautiful if d sides of d screen is being gmasked but it still nice though!

aaron, 02 Apr 2009I have a 2 and a half-year old N91 and I can say N82 is now... moreit is very hard to get gps fix only if u turn AGPS of.even i donot get gps fix with AGPS off.one day i waited for 10 min to get gps fix with AGPS of but i still didnot get it.but with agps ON I GET GPS FIX EVEN IN MY ROOM

I have a 2 and a half-year old N91 and I can say N82 is nowhere near the sonic experience of N91. For people who have not owned an N91 before, N82 will surely satisfy and meet their music needs. But if you have owned an N91 for the longest time like I did, it's hard to step down to the level of sonic experience N82 provides. That's why my N91 is still my main music player.
On the other note, Globe Telecom is having a free browsing session for 2 days now and I've been able to exploit this rare opportunity. I've been watching YouTube videos straight on my N82's web browser. It's very much like that on the PC. Connection is very fast because of HSDPA signal. And battery drains so fast as well. And also, I've been able to use A-GPS today. Wow, I didn't need to download via Nokia Maps Loader the maps of Luzon particularly NCR and Southern Tagalog. I just scroll on the blank maps of those areas and A-GPS automatically download the maps. Have you guys done that also? I don't know but I can't get the GPS working even if I have strong signal in my location. I was able to use GPS because of A-GPS, the one that connects to the internet, not the GPS receiver itself. Guys, pls guide me. What's the purpose of the GPS receiver. That feature doesn't seem to work at all in Nokia Maps. It only works in GPS data application under Utilities folder. I can only navigate using A-GPS but not using GPS receiver. For 3 weeks without A-GPS, I've used Nokia Maps and nothing happens. What I get is a blank map of my location. This whole GPS and Maps stuff only make sense because of A-GPS. Anybody?

The coating near the camera lens and xenon already peeled and I think my phone had been in this condition for like 2 months now.. But my D Pad is still not peeled though. In my case, it's the left and right soft keys that's been peeled. Well, not noticeable during the day but at nighttime when the keypad backlight is being used, the peeled part is discernible.

aaron, 01 Apr 2009nope.my n82 is only 3 weeks old.it's a new batch of black n... morei was referring to the silver rim dude that surrounds the DPAD and also the silver colored plastic that houses the Xenon and Camera.
I have to warn you to protect this parts as early as possible.
I have no problem with the casing because it naturally black, not coated.

Hi all.
I just wondering why my phone became very hot when i charged it? And this morning i just relise that everytime i restart the phone, i've to set the date and time again. Is this a hardware problem?
