Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970dude, i've always been telling everyone here to have their casing change in Nokia Service Centers because they have "Original Casings" sold.

Their were non original casing sold in the market at a lower price but your phone will look fake/clone-ish after suite up. for sure you dont want to bring that impression to your beloved N82.

                      Hi Kuno,
Read this to know more of "Dual ARM" Chip on N82. It is from Taxas Instruments site:
                      "OMAP™ 2 Processors: OMAP2420
                      clear gif

                      OMAP2420 - Availability Disclaimer

The OMAP2420 processor is a single-chip applications processor that supports all cellular standards, and complements any modem or chipset and any air interface. It is intended for high-volume wireless handset manufacturers and is not available through distributors.

The OMAP2420 includes the benefits of the OMAP 2 architecture’s parallel processing, giving users the ability to instantly run applications and operate multiple functions simultaneously without quality of service compromises. The OMAP2420 includes an integrated ARM1136 processor (330 MHz), a TI TMS320C55x™DSP (220 MHz), 2D/3D graphics accelerator, imaging and video accelerator, high-performance system interconnects and industry-standard peripherals.

Graphics. The OMAP2420 processor embeds Imagination Technologies' POWERVR MBX™ graphics core, making it the first applications processor to support OpenGL ES® 2.0 and OpenVG™, providing superior graphics performance and advanced user interface capabilities. TI is enabling sophisticated and dynamic images with "smart pixel" technology offered via OpenGL ES 2.0. This unique technology allows each pixel in an image to be programmed individually, giving developers the power to create rich effects with cinematic realism. Users will now experience "life-like" facial features, advanced reflection effects and multi-textured backgrounds in the mobile environment.

                        Hi guys again :-)
I noticed a one using my nickname in the last thread -not ugly..- so take care it might be missleading...
Regarding the installing issue with every restart the solution is too easy !
1)Connect the phone in mass storage mode
                        2) in my computer open memory card and enable show hidden files from tool bar
                        3) search for *.sis
                        4) delete all *.sis files found on the memory card
.disconnect the fone , restart , no installing appear !

                        Another easier way !

If ur fone is hacked , go for e:/private/10202dce , then delete all files found !
                        Restart !
                        Hope i helped guys :-)
For the guy complaining from the white spots with flash its the water or dust particles in air thats not a camera issue all xenon flash show that particles even with real digital cameras to be sure try indoor pics in a clear weather :-)

                          My mini N82 review:
I'm a new N82 user. Just bought it 2 days ago. I was choosing among N79, N82, N95, N95 8GB, &N96. And i think i've made the right choice in choosing N82. The design is definitely not ugly. But it's not as eyecandy as the others. It has all the high-end features of other more expensive Nseries. I bought my N82 with the latest v31 firmware installed. Sound quality through the headset is clear and crisp but not as loud as my old N91, through the speakers it's ok. Camera is excellent. Shutter speed is lightning fast. I can capture in great detail even the fast-moving subject. Xenon flash is very bright. I can take pics even in the dark. There's plenty of RAM. I can run many applications all at the same time. I've tried to experiment on the N82's RAM by opening all built-in and third-party applications and I came to a conclusion that it's impossible to use up all the RAM no matter what you do. That's amazing. Battery life is above satisfactory. Accelerometer, WiFi, HSDPA, GPS and TV-out are great additions and very useful in various situations. I'm definitely enjoying all these features. I've installed and played the 3D game, Global Race, and I can really see the effect of the 3D graphics acceleration on N82. However, there are also some cons. Keypad is inconvenient to use. Screen is noticeably dimmer than any other Nokia phones I've used. Even the maximum level of brightness isn't bright enough. But overall, I'm totally happy with N82. I think this is the most practical, and best Nseries phones currently available.

I have a question...in the the 'Features' says, that it has a Dual ARM 11 332 MHz CPU...it's real a dual CPU?
And the other question, that it's stronger than the N79 (it has just "one",simple ARM CPU 369 Mzh)?
                                      Thank you!
