i've bought an N82 and two months later bought an N79, both phones have plus and minus of its own. N79 has a faster single processor, but most of the time it feels abit slow compare to N82 due to its new and fancy user interface(with transitions and fading effects, which can't be disabled i'm sorry to say that). overall, i still prefer N82 better although it may not have some extra features that N79 have.
N79 is slim, lightweight and has a newer operating system + extra features.
N82 is bulkier, old user-interface but larger internal memory with very powerful Xenon flash light to take nice pictures.
Both have 5 megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics lense+auto focus, 30fps-VGA video recording, stereo speakers, wifi, A-GPS, auto screen rotate, 3.5 mm audio output jack, TV out, etc etc.

Great pics you got their dude, I was surprise with the terrace pictures you have, it very bright, mine was dimmer. What settings did you use?

Stunning night photos taken from the Nokia N82. I took these photos using the "Night" Scene Mode plus the Xenon Flash turned on.

Hi every one. I have a problem with my N82,some times when i make a call,my front camera is just started.And i have to stop this manually.Can anyone please help me to fix this problem. Thanx in Advance.

Hello and good day to all internet-savvy users especially to the Nokia N82 owners and forum visitors!
I just would like to inform you that there is a new Java-based internet browser, called "Bolt", which is based on WebKit (sounds promising, isn't it?). Dubbed as the future Opera Mini competitor, the Bolt java browser is said to provide decent page rendering and speed. A word of note though is that, it's still in its beta stages.
Anyway, I have just registered today and I'm just waiting for them to respond me through my Email add which may include a download link.

uhhhmm dude you need symbian os 9.xx sumthing not symbian uiq 3..woah it can suppoirt 16GB micro sd..im really loving it now..

In some cases at night the picture is not as good as expected.......it consists some drop like spots....but sometimes its giving crystal clear pic.....don't know why it seems that there is dust on lens......but its not happening in dat times.....I'm just giving picture links with such problems......http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/jN2HxM50i3OEX5o48M7TzA?feat=directlink
