i know that v30 is latest firmware but its very dangerous , iam using v20 its the best one have some bugs but its ok with me , then why u people r trying to upgrade to v30,
in my v20
i have fast auto rotation than v30.
in v30 sound amplification is inceased which in 40% out of 100 upgraded sets causes death of 1 loud speaker, due to high amplication n db that is more than the db of the loudspeaker,
its an advice to all of u that dont upgrade to v30 its totaly unhackable n un-downgradeable, n also causing the hardware failures in 40% out of 100 sets

yeah i agreed with u that new firmware will be better, but i think u dont know the difference between the hackable n unhackable mobiles,let me tell u
hackable mobile r those on which we can actually sign any application ourself by signing method,
most of the symibian 9.x applications needs to be signed for each mobile u want it to work
nokia bo doubt in new firmware may have improved phone performance but than u will never able to
1: hack ur phone
2: never able to downgrade ur phone
very few users know this thing, so please aware of it,iam warning u , otherwise its on to u
if u dont agree with me do proper search n try to ask the most experience user in ur comunity.
but again i will say , very few users know this thing,
hacking is important if ur realy want to enjoy ur symbian, ur mobile is now like Symbian java
but on v30 its like java java n symbian.

I installed a 3D game named Devil May Cry but the game didnt opened on my N82 and when i tried removing it using Apps Manager, it wont be remove anymore, dont you think its a virus? Any suggestion on how to remove the software?

Hi can anyone help me i got this phone about 3 months ago and black lines started apearing on my screen.I don't know if the screen is screwd or if i just have to get a software upgrade

1:Increased ram 128MB
2:fast processing.
3:Xenon flash
4:candy bar design (no tension for caring of folding n sliding mechanism)
5:extend able mem upto16gb some says upto32gb
N95
1:big n better display then n82
2:sound better n louder than n82
3: low processing than n82
4: ram decreased than n82
5: dual slide needs care much
6: led flash in camera
7: no auto rotation like n82
in short both r gud sets n depends upon on ur need
xenon is prefferd much, so n82 is the best choice,

Nokia N82 One of the best phones in the market. And much better than N95. Reasons - 1. Xenon Flash ( N95's quality is not even near to the N82) 2. No sliding Problem. 3. Once you buy it you like it more & more

pls dont upgrade ur firmwares to v30. of any of ur symbian phone , the v30 r UNHACKABLE will (hackable means u will not by an way can sign a application for ur phones)
v30 firmwares r highly security upgraded by NOKIA. so beware of it.

most probably some kind of virus in ur card or phone try to save ur data n format both n also do scan ur card with same latest antivirus definations updated to ur pc, its sometimes happens, dnt worry ,
1st of all scan ur mem. card with ur anti virus, if not worked n try to format both the phone n card,

Dis's my very 1st post. I'm not only a very experienced Nokia phone user but also one of their biggest fans. I'm also a symbian freak. I'm currently using N73 & I'm yet 2 get d n82 phone but from my experience I can sincerely advise anyone avin a hard time choosin b/w nokia n95, n95 8g & n82 to end their guess & go 4 n82. There r 2 straight 4ward reasons. 1) ram capacity is d back bone of a phone & in d case of N95 vs N82, u who has d larger ram... so go 4 it. 2) d memory limitation of d N95 8g to 8g only has already disqualified its comparison 2 N82 cos N82 can take up 2 16g(not just 8g like ur made 2 believe). Dat's d much I can tell 4 now, but just in case of any symbian or Nokia phone questions, just channel it 2 me & we'll see 2 it 2gether. One more tin, I do admire Sonyericsson 4 their brilliance. Ciao

is nokia n82 has dual arm 11 332 mhz cpu or on single arm 11 332 cpu? & is it have 3d graphics hw accelerator?, just like the nokia n95 8gb have?

- mine is a black N82, does the keypad really peels off unlike the light colored ones?

Dani, 05 Dec 2008That sounds promising, since your cousin is a Samsung Fan i... moreOh yeah.. That's what I should be careful of - in buying my secondary phone. But thankfully, the 5320 XM opinions section are quite positive with the phone. And actually, I am also considering some other cheap Symbian S60 smartphones (sorry if I'm too mentally obsessed with S60!) like the Nokia 6120 classic and the Samsung I450 as both also carry Symbian OS. However, the 6120 is already aging and the 5320 has more than everything that it got. The i450 on the other hand is insanely expensive (as of the moment) here in our place and even competes with the price of the N81. So I've made my most final decision. And that is...I'll be getting the 5320 XM..
And btw. I'm wishing you luck too. Hope you can have a try on the N82. Cheers!
