I know that the n-series phones have software issues, but I am interested in buying this phone. I'm weighing up my options between this phone and the Sony Ericsson C902. Has anoyone owned this phone for a couple of months, is it freezing or really slow and have they had any problems regarding software or any other bugs that it may have??

Anyone knows what's the real SAR value of this phone??
My User's guide showed a SAR value around 0.6x w/kg(I lost my user guide that's why I wrote 0.6x) for my N82 RM-313.
But when I checked it on Nokia's official website, it showed 1.35 w/kg for Nokia N82 RM-313.

iolo003, 22 Nov 2008dude, your from Cebu right? how many nokia service center a... moreHmmm.. As far as I know, there are 2 Nokia Care centers here. One at SM City Cebu and the other one is at Capitol specifically at Brightpoint. But I recommend the Nokia Care center at SM because I'm not sure whether the one at Capitol is still operating and also because I haven't gone there.
So better at Nokia Care SM.

il have my phon clean, ive notice dusts, 5 grains i gues in the upper middle of my screen. I wonder how those dust came inside the phon c", It must be due to my constant traveling stints.

i know its crazy installing 2 apps that can do the same thing.. im thinking about removing one but up to now i cant decide which one to remove

N82 was the only 5 Megapixel there and the huge surprise is that, at the end of the comparison, phonearena said like this...
"We can’t recommend any of these 8MP shooters based on their camera alone, and the 5MP N82, our winner nine months ago, can still hang with the best of them".
Astonishing isn't it?!!
It would have been nice to see if GSMarena did the same thing too like comparing some 5megapixel shooters to the recently launched 8megapixel shooters.. I know that anyone might see it unfair but... for the sake of comparing I guess it does really make sense. Because it might serve as an eye-opener for some that it is not always about megapixels alone.

Btw.. Didn't you find that hacking thing to be somewhat dangerous? Symbian OS purposely made that Digital Signing of Apps to trace the Software Developer of some malwares right?? What if you accidentally installed an unsigned app which might contain a worm? And does this particularly mean that by hacking your phone, you do it on your own risk?
Mmmm... I guess I shouldn't do it then. I just don't want to take the risk of installing dangerous apps because I like my N82 very much!!! And I'm not experiencing any problems just yet so that's why I don't want to potentially ruin my enjoyment.

N82 the best 5 megapixel phone with powerful xenon...and 8 megapixel phones such as LG renoir,Innov8 and SE C905 have produced absolute camera phones taking mobile camera to the next level....expecting nokia too to join in this race and waiting to see how nokia responding with the tough camera mobile competion in the market!!!

N79 is the Boss than N82 .This phone N82 has symbian 9.2-v-1
but n79 AND n5320 has symbian OS 9.3 real 3.2.
Sometimes it may hang but not afraid .Prefarabe phone for EUROPE.

not loud sound enough for music.It is similar quality with n5320,n5800,5610 etc.But pic is assume.
