Ouch.. My mistake on my post below.. I just checked the video that I took yesterday and it was just 32 minutes. =) Sorry for the mistake people. But nevertheless, keeping my experience on the latest firmware version 30 in mind, the v.30 firmware obviously has seen a huge improvement in terms of battery life. Cheers!

Hello to everyone! I'm really having fun time with my N82 black running on the latest firmware v.30.0.019!! Sorry for the exageration but I guess no one can stop me from being too happy? Hehe..
Yesterday I was astonished about my N82 because it survived 1.5 days!! And with my usage, I'm not really being easy on it!
I charged it at 11pm last Tuesday. Then tomorrow morning (that's yesterday) at school, there was an activity at the gym and I took a video which is an hour long at VGA 30fps (TV High Quality) setting. The battery is still 6 bars!!! Yes! I'm not lying. Then later that day, my cousin had a birthday and of course typically, I took quite a lot of photos (139 photos) in the 5MP resolution with the Xenon Flash used on about 71 of the 139 photos. Guess what, the battery is still 4 bars!! Yes!
Then at 9pm in the evening, I surfed the net through GPRS for around 25 minutes the battery remained at 4 bars. Then I slept and used the N82 as my alarm clock which repeatedly rang every 5 minutes and stopped it at the fifth ring on a 5-minute interval and I was shocked to see the battery remained at 4 bars.
So what I did to deplete the battery was to listen to mp3's because I have a class this 1pm and I used the phone for about 2.5 hours with music player and it was depleted to 1 bar at 9:30am. Then I surfed the net at 9:35am on a 3G network until such time at 10:20am (2 hours and 30 minutes ago at the time of writing this) it already went empty.
Definitely astonishing, isn't it? Sounds impossible to accept for some people but that's the cold truth that I experienced really! Definitely recommended to upgrade your N82 to v30 firmware. It's worth recalling that with the v.20 firmware, all of those usage operations that I have mentioned above can only extend to a ''dreamer's'' mind. But now, it has gone to reality! Cheers to all N82 users!!!

nokia phones fast hngz too fast so really no good even their quality its not that high

own 1, 19 Nov 2008where did everybody got v3.0? i m in indo, is it really v3.0It's not v.3.0. It is v.30.. I got my phone upgraded from a Nokia Care Point here in Cebu, Phils..

I choose to have long battery life nd really good music rather than hacking my ph0ne. But yes its good to have b0th.

13, 19 Nov 2008Does any1 know how much the n82s lcd here in manila?? i da... moredude, bring your phone to nokia service center to be safe, i use 2 bring my old broken phones to fly by day repair centers b4 because its cheaper but the repair man added more damage on the phone instead of repairing it and i ended up spending more than saving c", dont go to greenhills or divisoria

regarding the battery life, it wud be best if u upgrade to v30 firmware and disable 3G and Wifi search, try instaling light control as wel, it wil give u more option 2 save battery.. mine last for a day or two depending on my usage.

i damaged mine by accidentally leaning on it while on my pocket.apriciate the help.
and for the other users that have lower fw than version 30 dont upgrade unless you dont have any special apps like mine that needs to be hacked to install coz version30 cant be hacked.
th only good thing you get from it is longer battery life.

Fee, 19 Nov 2008hi! just got my new silver/white n82 last friday nov.14 and... moreupdate your phone to the latest firmware... disable 3g and wifi when you are not using it... this would make the phone last 2 good days.. mine did with 1 hour music, a bit wifi and edge, 30 -45 min calls.... 2 full days with last firmware....

iolo003, 19 Nov 2008yeow dudes, got a very excruciating experience last nigh... moretry connect ur phone to the pc via usb or card reader and delete the game itself on ur mmc. hope this helps!

hi! just got my new silver/white n82 last friday nov.14 and i got no problem with it except for the battery. it drops/drains so fast especially when i play games, search the web or listen to music. i would like to ask the n82 users if how long usually ur battery stays?
