I wonder why people cant be more appreciative. They are now comparing picture quality of 8 mp phones to N95 n N82 n saying Nseries are better which of course is crazy

dk, 05 Nov 2008this phone is gr8 the onlu thing is tht it has short batter... moreyou have to update your phone to v30 to improve the battery life

Ayo can anybody pls help me how to update the n82 software from v20 to v30 because the nokia software updater only shows the v20 version.

pls somebody help'my n82 is still on v10 but now i've found v30 update software,will it be safe to jump from v10 to v30 without stepping on v20? urgent pls!!!

just so you know.... the number of megapixels decides the SIZE of the photo, and is not the major determinant of photo quality. Processing and settings define the quality of the picture. thats y the n82 can produce better quality pics than 8mp phones out there

Any one can tell me why after i install some solfware but cant read it. Only can read sisx file , jar file cant read. Any one can tell me why like this and i must how to do?

its been a month now when i bought my black n82. how do you guy remove or clean the installation log? pls pls help. its been also 3 days when i updated my v20 to v30. 1 problem happened just now when i press the gallery button it wont work i pressed it 5 times still the same thats the time decided to restart my phone. now its ok i hope it wont happen again. i decided to change to v30 cuz im hopping my phone wont hang anymore. having this phone for a month it hanged 6 times. im still trying to observe my phone now its running on v30. so far im proud of the sound improvement. and i love the blue buttons in the music player. it also improved the way the screen orient's it self to the phones position. so far thats what i have observe in my experience using the v30. again will somebody tell me how to clean or remove the data in the installation log..

this phone is gr8 the onlu thing is tht it has short battery life which is a big drawback else this phone is worth buying.

Its the best phone i`ve ever used.
It is full of features and not very costly.
So just go for it......

I've been using this phone for 4 months. It really rocks. It's sound quality is awesome. Camera + Xenon flash is the super combination that enabled me to take super quality pictures at nights. I will highly recommend this phone to those users who require features, but this phone is not good for those, who like to buy cell phone to show off! In my opinion, this cell phone rocks!!!

I don have the N82 unit yet but I think will have it very soon, that's why try to know more about it...
I wonder if u can help me with the firmware v30 upgrade later after I buy this N82 unit...
Anyways, will refer to u again once I bought the phone....

dear guyz. N82 SuCkS. specially the black version its a DUD. i had one a month ago and in the beginning i was very glad but as time passed it began toubling me at first i faced some problems with the music player the one of the loud speakers went dud later after 15 days or so the other also went mute ... just within 1 month of purchase i got fed up with it i claimed my set wth the warranty provider and the other set which i received in exchange had the same problem... :@ i had no choice but to sell the phone at a loss of $150...

though off topic....can anyone actually prove that t*omnia actually has 12 megapixel camera?
though pixel size doesnt really matter
it seems that if this is true...hten samsung has skipped over the current trend of picture size which is 5-8....

v30 is the newest firmware update of nokia n82.. if you bought ur phone recently u probably have the v20
v30 brings important improvement to your phone, longer battery life, better sound quality etc.. and it depends on the region were u live. nokia implemented the firmware update by country or product code so its posible that u country have no firmware update yet in ur place.
you can upgrade your phone to v30 by bringing it to nokia service center. this is the safest way
the other way is thru a nokia software updater than can be uploaded in nokia websites. upload the the software to your pc then attach ur phon to the pc using usb and ur ready to go. i dont recomend this because theirs a posibility that it may break ur phon specialy if ur not use to doing it before.
