Hey guys, well I have also updated my phones firmware to v.30.0.019 and the changes that I have seen so far are:
      1. The NGage app is revamped.
      2. The active standby adds a new line for the "Share Online" app.
      3. The "Search: Internet and my Content" occupies two lines already instead of one line on the v.20.
      4. The music player's pressed key caption becomes blue instead of green on the v.20.
      5. The phone natively supports .flv videos directly from the file manager. (Quite strange that in the gallery of images and vids, the flv videos can't be opened while on the File Manager, it can be played.) So this means, you might not even need a separate flv player for your phone!
That's all for now! I'll post again if I observe new changes.

Daimos, 30 Sep 2008This is also what I encountered when I tried to update my p... moreI've updated my fw too, v30
I have a black n82 which came off with v20 already last May, product code is 0561044.
I didn't experience having to remove my battery during the update process, it just began by downloading 114++mb of files to my pc then it upgraded my phone(copied files into it) for about 10 mins. then it said "Update finished, you can use your phone now" never needed to remove battery or turn off the phone, my phones turned on the whole time and after the update, I just removed the usb cable and didn't need to turn it off. How come I went to the update process differently?

I Remeber when the N82 was about to be released, we were alll anticipating its release

since it is the competitor for the K850i we were all wondering what the N82's features would be

                                  and then it finally releases

                                  and NOKIA KILLLED IT!

K850i then got the least appriciation.....
