Don't think, just buy it!!
I'm not kinda a Nokia Fan but I must say its the best phone!!

It gets stuck for 24 seconds during the last stage and sez you have to take out the battery, turn off & on phone etc. But still no V30 upgrade. Can you please help me? thanks.

N85 is a good phone but im rooting for Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic for my next phone, just to have something different.
But i wont dish out my Nokia N82, I will use it in alternate basis specially when I'm traveling when I need good camera with me.

but i will tell u that instead of buying n82 go for n85 it is far beteer then n82 espect camera

this phone scratch so easily, eventhough i kept it in a pouch...
but that's the only drawbacks, the rest is perfect...

i have upgraded my firmware already, I tried it again this morning and it on smoothly.
initial changes i'd notice,
browsing was faster
autorotate works well, less sensitive
My Nokia icon came out
search now has google, yahoo and msn icons
map was improve
camera runs faster
sound using loudspeaker was greatly improve
sound using headphone was greatly improve
music player icons turns blue
youtube flash video loads fast and viewing was improve with options
browsing the web is faster

In v20 fw u can hack for:
1) Increase the display brightness to max. and thats the most important to me as it is too dim for me.
2)Disable the camera sounds
3)Installing all kinds of software without the boring certificate tests
4)Installin expired certificates as its widely found in themes and osme old software
5)Installin the full ngage system and games not only the demos
.......etc etc and lots more ...thats why many many many of ppl in all countries not upgradin for fw v30 untill a hack is already made...
The Only + of v30 ..,
1) increasing the battery power a couple of hours
2) the automatic rotating system is a bit smoother but lags for 3 sec.
3) The play buttons in music player are blue instead of green !!!!
.... The rest is still the same ..

i tried to update my phone last night to V30 but it failed, must have something to do the way i update it.
it was a fearsome experience, because it was like 4 hours already and the update was not done yet, it stocked at 24 seconds left. anyways I disconnect all connections, restart my phone and im lucky enough that no damage was done.
what went wrong? any idea?

Is der realy ne diffs n v30 n v20 coz im on v20 n i ave no probs wit my fone apart 4m when i woz on v11 i cudn gt themes bt on da v20 themes wrk da best nw.

hey I wanted to know if any of the users/owners hav had an experience with their phone where the phone calls a number automatically without the user knowing and when the person on the other line picks up.. the other person on the other line keeps saying hello but the user is not responding and all they hear is the background..Its weird. I dont know if it has something to do with the service? or maybe the phone? If anyone knows why its doing this pls. let me know or any help would be appreciated.

Why do we need a hackable V30? So we can install hacked softwares? Pls advice. Thanks a bunch. Mine is still V20. I find batt does not last long enough for 15pics with flash, 5 songs, 15 min calls and 1hour of msn chatting. The xenon flash surely is a power sucker. Anyone disagree? Does V30 helps?

musicphone, 29 Sep 2008guys, does the new v30 firmware bring menu animations in n8... moreI just updated my N95 8GB with v30 firmware and it has menu transitions (themes effect) and is fully hackable. But sad to say, N82 with v30 firmware has NO menu transitions and has bugs in the camera. It's NOT hackable either. Stay with your current v20 firmware or else you'll regret it. Just a piece of advice though. :)
