guys, i have this tatanium n82. and i saw a black case with keypads both original for only 2000 pesos.. im thinking if im going to buy it or not. im planning to bring it to nokia so that they will be the one to change the casing, but unfortunately they are not allowed to change case if it is not purchased in nokia service center (if the case and kepads will be bought to nokia stores, it will cost around 5k! too expensive) pls give me some advice.. if im going to buy it, where will i change the casing? tnx

Ive never tried checking it on my N82 since I'm connected to our office's network which is using a D-Link (DIR-635) router and by default the private IP is 192.168.0.1.. and the public IP address is 206.x.x.x and its a static one coming from our ISP in the Phils.. But I'll check it for you once my phone is already on cause I'm charging it right now... ^_^

It amazes me how you guyz keep asking these questions about which camera phone looks the best, the answer is NONE, All these cell phones use cheap lenses.. PERIOD ive got a nokia 5M, sony 2M and another sony 5M pixel phones and all outcomes are the same! Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges. Nothing changes, i go to my sony digital camera and go to VGA mode and the picture is IMACULATE from the inside and out!! No blur's at all its all about the LENSE. And until these cell phone companies realize to put in better lenses, the pics will always come out half way descent. But then again its a cell phone camera.. How much quality do you really expect to get?? Try it for ur self, if u have a camera phone and digital camera, set them to the same resolution and snap the same picture and look at them on the computer closely..

Hey you human being you should understand that your eyes can only differentiate 12,000 colours. You should know that 16 million will drain your f----- battery. Even yankees don't like this phone.

N95 - 5.60mm
N95 8GB - 5.60mm
N82 - 5.60mm
K800i - 5.20mm
K810i - 5.20mm
K850i - 5.18mm
K750i - 4.80mm
yet to find out Samsung INNOV8 and G600 ..
for now N82 is the best in the 5MP Category

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2008I have seen the N82 and I can say that the keys r very hard... morehow did you know that the keypads of n82 are hard by just seeing it.try to touch it and you'll find they are soft.

Improvements...
- ASR Feels Smooth Now
- Music Player Audio Quality and Loudness imprvoed.
- blue buttons in music player now.
- camera startup faster
- Whole OS faster
- Speaker Not very loud but sound quality is amazing now
Disadvantages...
- # key does not change to silent or loud profile.
- this firmware is not hackable to install cracked, unsigned applications etc.

I bought N82 two months before,but I used this set only for 3 weeks. rest of the time it stay with service center.First time one speaker stopped working,2nd time again speaker stopped working.Some one from nokia can tell me why speakers stop working.

I've already done that g-mask in my 2 phones. 6230i and samsung u700.. im not that satisfied with the result although it has cool designs.

have your phone G-Masked, it cost at about 700 pesos only, make it double layered, it you want it to be real black. it has many cool designs to c", and serves as a protector against scratches. i have tried it before on my old Nokia 6233 phone.
