S60 3rd Edition FP1 (used in the Nseries) is the best user interface in a phone. The same UI used in the 4-digit Nokia phone models are lacking some elaborate details.

Here is my short review of N82.
5MP cam with flash that takes excellent pictures in day and night.
Excellent video recording - DVD quality videos at VGA 30fps. Indoor video quality is excellent.
GPS with Nokia maps and you can install Google maps too.
Wifi connectivity so that you can save a lot on internet.
UPNP feature in Wifi allows you to share files between PC and phone and allows streaming of music and video.
Lots and lots of freeware applications available for S60.
2.4" display has a sharp screen and though brightness is less no problem viewing in sunlight also.
Music audio quality is excellent through headphones as well as the stereo loudspeakers.
Very good call reception quality.
Good build quality and feels solid when held in hands.
Multimedia key provides one touch access to images, video, music, browser etc.
Excellent inbuilt search application that gives results from all contacts, music, images, videos and everything that is available in the phone.
Fully functional browser renders all sorts of webpages.
Comes bundled with 2GB card and expandable.
TV out feature allows you to see images, videos and even browsing in the TV.
3.5mm jack gives you the freedom to use your own headsets.
Bluetooth with A2DP.
Office viewer, PDF viewer, ZIP etc.
3rd party applications like Fring allows you to connect to Yahoo, MSN, Skype and use internet telephony.
In short this is the best all in one phone available at a reasonable price.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970We are not fan boys of any particular company. I have had lots of SonyEricsson’s phone. Do you remember K800i? When it was released no other phone can bit that, hope C905 bring that glory but don’t forget Nokia also developing under the hood. But IMO N82 is best overall phone right now.

N82, N95-1, N95 8gb and N96?......
if so pleas care 2 share wer u get ur info and wat are the specs of the chips and sound outputs of the stated mobile phones!!.....peace....

Everything is perfect in this fone after 2 month of use ... good battery 1 and half day under heavy use ... great shots night and day ...great display ofcourse after hacking to increase the brightness!... everything is great high end feature ... my only concern is the poor build quality and the lcd is scratch magnet .. people of nokia learn to make better build quality

Seriously cant people on these threads make constructive comments about this phone. Not things like SE are best or Nokia are best. Its so childish. Yes i prefer Nokia myself and they still have biggest market share period. SE make good phones too though their smartphones are a little thin on the ground. But why cant people here help each other making constructive helpful comments regarding this phone. If you like SE go onto their threads and make comments there. People have different tastes and if they wanna love SE let them same goes for any brand. Rowing about it gets you nowhere and its just stupid. There is no perfect phone in the world they all have faults. Get over it.

I have a question that some of you may help with clari... moreyou need to download the specific maps for your country. it's a huge file. mine is already preinstalled when i bought my n82.
aside from camera (& video), gps navigation is the feature that i'm enjoying the most with this handset. it's so useful (although of no practical use for my current status).
who needs n95 when there's n82? n82 does everything that n95 does, even better!

I Love it !
and i dont like Nokia S40 Phones becuase there limited becuase of Symbian and i dont like Symbian..
so my way forward is SE Phones!!!!!!!!!!!!
