Great to see your comment on N82 camera..as of me when i first bought it i just went for the camera and from the kick start i can see a huge difference of camera pics between N82 and K850.
And as you said missing emocotions in N82 and missing functionalies such as bestpic,photofix..but still N82 camera overcomes all those with it's class camera...and xenon was much powerful.
The first phone which i owned was K550i then went to K850 and i never expected that nokia camera was much better than SE only when i tested k850 with my friend's N95....
So from then i just made a plan to switch over to better camera phone than K850 and initally my choice was between Samsung G800 and N82..finally went for N82 after having a long review and analysis in websites..
N82 camera was really awesome one and it can challenge a standalone digicam anywhere anytime....and sound quality of N82 was also much better than K850..video recording was way too good with realplayer and much more......a worth one to have that will be perfect value for our money.....

Yesterday I took a few snaps at night with this phone and I was stunned the quality is so good I can explain. But alas digital zoom don't give good picture. Nokia must come with optical zoom with this too like N93.

Hello Friends I have just bought this phone. I am in India and I was reading that many of you have updated latest firmwares. Can you tell me from where you are downloading this firmwares?? Do I need to register my mobile in Nokia website if so how?? I tried that and I checked Nokia website but couldn't find any options.

Hello Shane Thanks for your advise but I want to ask you are there such kind of bluetooth device which are not compatible with N82??
What I did was turn on the bluetooth search for add new paired device but it couldn't detect the bluetooth headset. Is it true that Bluetooth device can be paired with only one device?? Or do I need to delete the profile of Bluetooth from my earlier windows mobile??

@ANONYMOUS:you can use bluetooth for playing songs but i might warn you the battery goes down empty in 2 hours of song play and 5 hours of normal use

Hey guys I have a question what form of video does this mobile support. I tried using .dat diles but they couldn't be played even FLV player video couldn't be played which real; player can play easily in my laptop. I would thus request you to please suggest how to view video players. If I need to convert video files to another format then please tell me what software should I use?? How can I play .wmv files in this phones?? Please suggest.

best phone, amazing battery life, great volume, just inatalled garmin navi.. amazing unit, i was a big sony fan but after using this phone,,, sony cant even toutch it! camera, and the quality!!! good job nokia!

Just call the bluetooth manufacturer to verify it to see what they can do or maybe there is a settings you need to set first before it finds the N82..But I'm really sure its not compatible because how come it finds your other device?

It's like night and day. As soon as I took my first pic with my N82 I knew the difference in quality. I took side by side pics in complete darkness and N82 much brighter. I am very satisfied. There are some qualities about my K850i that I like better but I soon forget about them.
I think T9 dictionary functions better on my K850i. And I miss my little smiley faces and emoticons that I can send with text messages. The voice dial on my K850i works the best of any phone I have ever had. But I did not test my N82 voice dial out yet, but if it's any thing like my N95. It will not be that good. And some of the dedicated camera functions I miss. But again the N82 camera makes me forget about all these.
What would you say you like better about your K850i? What do you think about sound quality? Can I get those smiley faces and emoticons for my texting? or anything else you have to add.

N82 camera quality is better by far. Sound quality very comparible as well as music. N82 would probably be your better choice. I own K850i and just got my N82 Black and the difference is clear. The K850i is a great phone, sometimes more fun to use and great looking. But if you want camera, the best choice is the N82. Thanx, eddie

Wow!! the price went high it became 23,000 here in the Philippines (Nokia stores) for this unit (N82)
