Don't you ever compare the overall performance of phones because of cameras..n82..it's an all in one device..support's all types of files because it's a symbian phone but se c905 doesn't..lot's of applications are in my n82 which are not supported in c905..eg..microsoft word,ms excel, comobi, rocktv, comobi, opera, smartmovie, lcg explore..etc.. It's easy to manage media files using an application..my laptop has no use because i've got my n82 which can read documents downloaded from the web..poor c905 doen't support this feature(most se phones don't)..I LOVE MY N82 the ALL IN ONE DEVICE! LOL..

so what if it hasnt got a fm transmitter, boohoo! Just buy a car stereo or whatever device with bluetooth, most of them have it by now, and streamplay your music over bluetooth which gives u 5 times better quality the then fm radio

I just bought N82 two weeks ago. I have to say that this phone is great. camera is superb. The other features is amazing. The only thing that I hate is sometimes it hangs.I don't know why. My version is v20.0.062. Is there any newer software to fix this problem?? Thx

there are 2 reasons why i buy se than nokia phones:
1. battery life
2. media files manager.
not until nokia make major changes to its battery life and media file manager, I will never buy from nokia. se is way better at batt life and media organiser

only dumb can say that nokia have better pic than SE,man i'm owner of mobile shop/service and i tell u something,if there is no nokia and samsung i can close my shop tomorow,i get about 150 phones on service on week,80 is nokia 40 samsung,25 lg and barley 5 is SE,and i sell about maybe 20 SE on day,and 10 nokia,samsung,lg.
I think 4.5 hour for high end phone is crap,man lisen to me it is crap,mobile is for calling,CALLING MAN,nhf!

I don´t know why people still think that the more megapixels you have the better the picture will be. That is a LIE. Megapixels are only good for printing the Pictures but Quality overall is on the Optics, Lens and image sensor. So, SE can have a 10 or 12 Mp cellphone and Nokia will still make better pics than SE.
Quality over Quantity, my friend.
Just do a lil Research and you´ll confirm what I just said.
That´s why they use Carl Zeiss and since then they have the Best pictures on a cellphone.
SE.....what optics do they use......lol who knows, lol.......the only thing WE ALL know is that is SUCKS.....
But look that new Motorola the ZN5 it uses Optics from Kodak, that´s good. And if you look at those pics they are really Great. Way better than K850, C902, C905. Which means Optics (again). Here, they made a comparison ZN5 vs N82 and they pics were almost the same which means Motorola has better pics than SE (wow never thought that could happen).
I´ll be waiting for your replies....

Does it supports opera mobile 8.65? My E51 does not supports opera 8.65. Is it only a E series problem or os 9.2 does not supports opera?

I want you to know that N82 get the best 5MP phone when there is no C902
and now the champion(C902) to be the winner

i have to say i was weary of the n82 due to the buttons and the delay that is present with the n95, but the new softwear helps speed up things like taking pictures and applications, and the buttons are raised with plenty of space in between which helps when using. over all there is no comparison with the n82 and the 6220c, the nokia is durable but not the nicest to hold and use because of the plastic design. the camera on the n82 is superb, with the camera on the 6220c not being bad but doesnt live up to the capability of n82. if you have the choice the 6220c is simpler with less features but depends what you want from a phone.

very promising phone yet without a wifi and some other feature..

Hi to everyone! I just got this N82 black yesterday and I really really love it!! This is my first ever S60 phone actually. Camera is great(obviously)! I like the active lens cover too! The phone's dimensions is not really that bulky as I expected. TV OUT is addicting (love to watch videos on a large screen). Stereo Speakers perform at a decent level but it doesn't quite handle the top volume too well when playing some strong bassed mp3's (not really a big issue for me as I never blast the sound in the street). 3D Rotating NSeries gallery is a joy to use! However, it also has some inconveniences. Motion sensor in my humble opinion doesn't really make some sense. Because at times with just a slight movement even though I didn't really tilt the handset, it rotates on its own in the landscape mode for a while and then afterwards, back to the portrait mode(read: no movement made this time) so good thing there is a way to disable the motion sensor! And sometimes, my phone hangs. Only seldomly hangs though but this still annoys me.
P.S. My firmware version is v.20.0.062..
So my question to everyone is, does reinstalling the firmware fix the hang problem? Please.. I need answers.

What can you say about Nokia N98
Its been sprawling allover the web?
If this is true, this will definitely be a good upgrade to N82 next year
7.2MP camera with xenon and tv receiver etc.
