as far as i know the n95 is better than n82 just for the screen size and the dedicated media buttons but with these things you also get a fat,thick,ugly phone
with the n82 you have a amaller screen and no media buttons but you get xenon flash and the normal dpad works well for music and videos, it's not as useful as dedicated buttons but you get a sexier and thinner phone.

Dude, your post makes no sense. The N82 has the same exact features plus some including a zenon flash. The only thing the N95 has on the N82 is a bigger screen. Sure the N95 has 8gigs but its built in and thats all you get not expandable. The N82 can have 8 gigs plus.
What it comes down to is what the individual prefers. If you want camera and all around feature filled phone go N82. If you want a big screen and a sliding BRICK, go N95.
What ever you smoked has clouded your brain.

I plan to buy new one next month. But I still not clear which one better N82 and N95 8gb. I am also like big screen but I dont like slide. It easy to spoil.

N95/8GB is better than N82. The N95 series are the most equipped mobile phones to date. N82 is a flagship camera phone that's why it's so ordinary-looking candybar phone with Xenon flash, to make it an acceptable camera phone. In this way, N82 is meant to be mass marketed just like N73! What N73 was in 2006 is what N82 is in 2008. That's all. Remember the N73-N93 rivalry? N73 is far ahead in sales because it's more acceptable in form factor even if it's less equipped than N93. The true all-one-device is the N95 series! Camera is just one aspect of the N95. It's more equipped than N82. It is not meant to be mass marketed just like N93 but it turns out to be one of the best-selling phones ever inspite of its hefty price! Beat that! N95/8GB is the true all-in-one multimedia device!

just got rid of my n95-8gb and bought the n82, what i'm missing in terms of screen size is more than made up for in everything else. xenon flash, no creaks and groans from the slider and the brilliant lens cover.
best mobile decision of my life so far!

I would'nt call N82 king because it lacks the design but 1 step better than N95.
According to my needs, N82 edges the N95 because of the zenon flash.
But it comes down to each persons preference.

n82 does not have the "wow!" factor. it's the n73 of 2008. just like n73, n82 is plain-looking. the features are great. the design is okay, but it's just too simple. it won't pass my taste. so i'd rather go for n95-1 even if it's kinda outdated than n82. n82 follows the path of n73, as the best-selling camera phone. n95 truly is the king!

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2008I spoke with nokia usa and they said where the N82 or any n... morehaving a china made phone stir a lot negativism from people, would that be unfair for the chinese? anyways, we cant blame people why they have that notion against china made products because its synonymous to low quality and imitation. maybe nokia should transfer its production line to philippines, filipinos are well known for its quality products, hardworking well educated workforce and hospitality. maybe this well have an impact.

Can someone help me out? I upgraded my firmware to the latest, over a month ago but have not been able to enjoy Flash Lite 3. If I surf to Youtube and attempt to play a video the phone now enters Real Player but is unable to play the video.
Time and time again this has happened. Yet Mobitubia plays Youtube videos without problems except it takes about 40 minutes to download a 4 minute music video via WLAN.
