sea-breeze, 26 Jun 2008The display is tooooooooooooooooooooo Dim ... sorry to say ... morebut atleast the n82 has a display of 16 million colours(16-bit)which is way better than the n73's 262,000(262k)display.so viewing anything on the screen of the n82 is far more ravishing than on the n73.just compare the two displays and you will know what i'm talkin' about,apart from the brightness factor,there is a lot more detail,vividness in the colours of the display of the n82.

got my n82 black frm haddad fr 1700sr assembled in china..works fine.
i have KSA map preinstalled in it....but nw im travelling to USA....do i have to install USA map 2 work wid the gps or it will connect the gps automatically in USA and show USA map..plz rep me soon.!

I bought my N82 (silver) on Jan 17, 2008 and just updated it with its latest firmware 2 months ago.
I hope this question gets published- I need an answer!
You owners of the black N82 or the silver one with the new firmware. If one punches in *#0000# to attain the firmware data does the following appear:

Nokia N82 (23.01)
Or is the date displayed 08-04-08?

im thinking of bying this phone...any problems with it? i heard from very few people that the xenon flash gets messed up? anyone have any problems with the xenon flash?

N 82 parts are made in finland and only the manufacturing is from china so no need to panic on the make......gr8 fone indeed....100% sure.

i always use my n82's browser to surf gsmarena using wlan. It also support flash pages on web :-)

Here in Saudi Arabia "i2 and axiom" are top two dealers so ask your friend to check with these two surely he/she will find finland made n82.. I am using n82 black (finland) with axiom warranty.. China made nokia is little cheaper even then ppl don't want it but i think it should be same in quality bcoz nokia have to maintain their standards..

I live in Saudi Arabia, and just yesterday I bought an N82( black) made in Finland for 1780 riyals, the black one is 50 riyals costlier.. I got 3 months free voice navigation too.
