hi all
this is for everyone wanting to know of the diff between n82 and the black version..
there is no hardware or physical diff except for the color.
the black version comes with the latest firmware so u dont have to upgrade or anything.. this includes the much hyped flash lite 3 also...
as far as the older white/silver/titanium version is concerned.. u can just upgrade to the latest firmware using nokia software updater to get all the stuff in n82 black then there wud be no diff at all between black and white.
the titanium n82s are still coming in with older firmware which is wierd but for people who dont like all black can just upgrade it via the internet.. so go on buy any color you want.. it doesnt really matter..
also people who are more into music than camera.. buy the n78.. its highly updated and very advanced in all features especially the battery dept. but the cam is only 3.2 mega so n82 is still good in imaging and video (30fps)

Is there any diff in specification for the black 1 and the silver? becoz n95 black n silver have diff spec.

Thanks anonymous for answering my question. My next question is will the keypad color peel off after long use because this happend on 6120. I thought the silver color on navigation button was originally come from the material but it turns out that it was only paint. Which one you thing is better, N82 Silver (which has grey color on navi button) or N82 Black (which has white color on navi button)? Thanks again

i have used the silver it rocks! and not the black ones but i love the color is there any change in the phone? except the color!lol!

Hey... Does anyone know if the volume of the loudspeaker is very soft? i presently own a sony ericsson k800i and find my phone volume very soft. Is the volume of the loudspeakers very soft on the n82? is it as loud as the n73? is the sound quality good from the loudspeakers? i find the quality of sound from my k800i to be average only. thanks in advance.
