    Make sure you guys update the firmware to the latest version. 20.xx.

    I have the n82 black with the latest firmware and haven't encountered any bugs. It's been 3 weeks already. Everything works better than expectation.

      There are 4 gps connection type available on the n82: bluetooth, integrated gps, assisted gps (AGPS), and network (gprs). I unchecked all except for the integrated gps which is the built in gps receiver on the phone. Works very well and it's free! locks in less than 20 seconds. sometimes less than 1 seconds.

          Thumbs up for this hp... Pros outweighs the cons...

          Pros:
          - front camera usable
          - 5px camera
          - wifi
          - switch landscape view (very sensitive)

          Cons:
          - buttons abit small

            @ Ratish
            the sound of N82 is brilliant.
            if u compare with noice sound phone like N73me,N95 then u will found it is little low

                        @v{RI
                        The numeric keypads aren't much of a problem once you use it for a day or two. You just need to get used to the smaller key layout. The space and the elevation of each key forgives N82's teeny tiny keys.

                        @v{MS
                        After you upgrade the firmware to the latest one (via Nokia Software Updater), a titanium or white N82 will produce great sound with great clarity and quality. But you don't really need to do that with a black N82, since they came in with the latest firmware already.
                        But still, no phone can beat the sound quality of the mighty N73 or samsung high-end phones.

                            Hi,

                            I am planning to buy Nokia N82. I want to ask whether the keypad of Nokia N82 is easy to operate? Isn't the small keys creating a problem in typing sms?

                            Can anyone please guide me on this aspect?

                            Thanks in advance...

                            Vishal

                              @ qG9y;

                              VGA meaning if you have a phone that is 65k color and your phone is built-in VGA is that VGA can changed the color of your phone more than 16 million color and that's already proven by reading facts and not by words only... understand !!!

                                  What is the difference between QVGA and VGA and how it relates to video quality? This may be a really dumb question but i really dont know.

                                    those who have sound problem plz install Lcgjuke box player and edit the equalizer of that player. after that your N82 will produce more volume then N73 me

                                      To The Nokia Neophyte, this might answer your question. I've taken this directly from the Device Software Update FAQ from nokia.co.uk:

                                      Can I use Nokia Software Updater with a Mac running OSX?
                                      Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4 or later), Microsoft Windows XP (SP1 or SP2) or Microsoft Windows Vista (Home, Professional and 64bit) are supported.

                                      Nokia Software Updater does not work with Windows Media Centre, Mac, or Linux operating systems.

                                      Hope this helps.

                                        Got it, it's there "close-up mode" not the term macro mode was used. It's the same, i stand corrected.

                                        Thank you, "Bottoms Up"
