I have the e61i and love the qwerty keypad. However, i want to switch to n82 because of the camera/video features. Has anyone experienced this transition? Has anyone tried "quickwrite" software for text entry?

N82 is the best camera-centric phone right now and maybe for awhile, even if the N96 (dual LED flash) and 6220 Classic (poor man's N82) get released. Sammy's G810 might still take the same mediocre pix like G800, just with Xenon this time. N82 is built to sustain longevity vs fast moving technology. N82 will hold its own even after a year from now. A year is a long time in this industry. Until we see real optical zoom over digital zoom, I think most new features on future cameraphones will be gimmicky or useless even if they boost it to 7 or 8MP. I dont print my pix that big anyway.

N82 is excellent and powerful device, but I missed one functionality from my old RAZR V3...I have Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS in my car with bluetooth option. With Motorola it automatically transfers phone book to Nuvi GPS. Although N82 easy "talks" to Nuvi, you cannot upload your contacts to device, so you have to dial from N82.

The N82 is a great phone
is funny to see people , complaining and they don't have the phone, whahahaha
Because I had the N95,and it sucks
it's slow, and the gps receiver works very sloww, and the phone feels very cheap and plastic !!!
The N82 is Very FAST, Gps Receiver is fast
within 20sec you got satilite connection
Great phone, Xenon flash is unbelieveble
great 5 megapixel camera. THIS IS THE BEST PHONE ON the Market for now, until the n96 comes out !!!

I can not believe this..Still no touch screen..I was waiting from Nokia touch screen phones..So what is different between N95 and N96..Both same think..Wake up Nokia time to make touch screen phones..I never buy any Nokia phone anymore.. if you don't make it touch screen...

to all my fellow loyal n82 owners out there...
i too will be leaving the realm of the n-series for the new samsung g810. there really is no need to argue the up's and down's, the g810 is better, and i suppose since it runs s60, i won't feel completely lost when i get it. until then, i'll cherish my time with my n82, which has been nothing but perfect for me (except the lack of optical zoom, the fact that i'm a bigger fan of sliders than bar-styles)
this is the beginning of the end...

Why is it that SE is say 3rd or probably 4th in the world market share.... Erm... let see!!!
It can compete... production time to market takes way too long. SE needs to get their fingers out of their ass and start leveling the playing field. the SEXX1 is a good phone but the only thing going good about is the touch... not even a 5mpx cam. Does anyone know how thick it is its a whopping 16mm thick. Its a brick!!! design is OK... but come on ditch Symbian UIQ and their own software for windows!!! thats like taking a step back for SE.

added features..... for your info.. the first nokia phone with xenon flash1!!....autoomatic screen rotation was included too along with n95 8gb...check the specs before you judge....

I'm Not impress with this phone NO! ADDED EXTRA FEATURES AND THE feauters of this phone is the same with the other N-Series!

yah be contented on what u have cuz sooner or later the new phone will become old also so meaning theres no "GOD OF ALL PHONES" so to speak, the new ones will become old like humans do, now ur young tmrow ur old.
