good thing i didn't join the bandwagon of early purchases of this phone and waited for the "black suit" to come out. im pretty sure some of you we're saying...I WISH I WAITED A LITTLE LONGER...LOL!

Can anyone tell me if the black version is already available here in the philippines and how much? Is it the same price with the original color? Is n82 not as slow as n73 ME? Lastly, will i have problems with the keypads considering i have big fingers? Pls help me out ASAP, im planning to buy n82 soon, will it be a good choice? coz i juz bought SE P1i 2 weeks ago and sold it just now, coz im not happy with it and its very difficult to press the keypads when u have big fingers.Tnx. Anyone here in the philippines that owns n82? can you please email me an advice or if possible, can i contact you for an intrview,coz i dont want to get wrong again in choosing wat phone to buy, asap PLS, TNX

Jeff its not 10x faster than an N95, its basically the same phone. It simply benefits from newer firmware optimisations, which the N95 now has.
Its a bar form N95 with xenon flash, and smaller screen.

i only have one issue thou, and it's not a major one! if anybody who owns this phone can tell me how to change the settings of the dictionary in the phone, so that i can type and get the meaning of a word in the same language.

I bought this exactly a week ago! Initially I wanned to buy the SE K850i, but when i looked at the phone in person i was disappointed. don't get me wrong ppl, i love SE, i had the K800 and that is an awesome phone, used it for more than a year! the reason i didn't buy SE K850 was because of it's design and dimensions. it's small (short in length) and fat (thickness). i love bar phones and big screens. N82 is the best phone out there that'll pretty much give you everything: BEST camera, big screen, not too heavy, great performance, nice look, and good volume (either loudspeaker or headset). i love this phone...i have everything i want in my phone! oh, and about the keypad....ppl who complain about it are the ones who can't type....i can type easily with this keypad...and can type 25 words in a minute. so, u all need to decide for your self what suits you and not follow what other ppl think abt this phone. take their advice, but make sure the last decision is yours after you've checked this phone out in person! N82 is the best! the one in black looks even better!

pros: light, beautiful design, packed with features, i especially like the prints that are on the back of the phone. 5MP CZ lens with xenon flash.
cons: BUTTONS!!! awful buttons, they way too small, the NAV button in the centre works terribly. the answer and reject buttons layout is all wrong for this phone.
overall: i did not purchase this phone for 1 reason, the buttons. It took me 3 attempts to type out "hello my name is JB" and using the Nav key was a painful experience. This phone was designed by a woman with tiny fingers else it is aimed at the female population. Expect Nokia to revise this phone within months. Its just as bad as the ericsson W880.

50% of Symbian OS is Own by Nokia for sure u r not Samsung fan as you don't No that S60 software is designed by Nokia even S60 v3 9.1/9.2 used is many Samsung Symbian phone like i550,i540,i420 etc are designed by Nokia just browse your Samsung Symbian phone for info about OS u will gate name of Nokia on u r Samsung phone.
U R just a SE fan want to defend U R REMOTE CONTROL using SAMSUNG's name.

To ALL nokia lovers...
Your all talking to good sound quality and good camera phones, you always compare nokia from other brand, but a phone is just a phone, phone is for calling and talking to other people and its good to add a text msgs.. and now all people want is to have a phone that has a good camera and sounds quality? Are GEEKS? Or just a wannabe?
if you want a good camera din buy a digital camera not a phone
if yon want a to hear good music then buy good set of audio player and speakers..

Nokia= features,features and design that make phone look like a phone
Samsung=design,design and good feature.
Motorola=Design and average feature.
SE= design that make phone look like REMOTE CONTROL and always stealing and copying ideas from Samsung and Moto.

comparing the sound of n82 to d n73...n73 sounds like 5X louder than d n82 with its stereo speakers...in using headset,it has d same quality...the difference with this 2 devices is the equalizer,n82 has a lot of khz volume(8 switches)...unlike n73 has only 5 switches..both have loudness control and stereo widening control...if you are looking for better sound quality take the n73...overall the n82 is for photo and video capturing..i've also compared the n82 with the sony 5mp digital camera..it has the same quality when you print both of their captured photo...in video capturing,n82 is better than the sony 5mp digital camera...

N82 can be bought at 18,500 pesos @ grinhills last 02/05. Checked it before pull out. They will reshuffle their stalls again. N95 8gig is @ 22,500 but its 2nd hand.

my phone is made in china but wtf everything is made in china these fing days now but still my n82 does just about the same as any n82 its made in china but the parts are still oem so i dont give a sh@t about china finland or wherever but fing latino land mexico ahh hell no they dont know how to make sh@t
