great device, but i prefer dedicated camera, ipod, tomtom. phone is only for calling and texting. battery life only concern. also better performance from individual devices

    oh and i think this phone can match a digi camera. I own the N95-1 which has the same camera unit and some of the photos i take with that are outstanding

      "Does this phone has got pre-installed games?"

      thanks twan, that obviously made alot of sense.

      and by that i assume you meant "Does this phone have any pre-installed games?"

      and the answer to that is yes. Not forgetting the N-gage platform that will be released soon (apparently)

              Well said? This is a Nokia N82 thread so anything about SE should not be posted here. Stop comparing SE K850i with the N82 coz its very clear who the real winner is. Phones are supposed to last a long time and sorry that's not the case with SE phones as they die after a while. Now that's what you call a good competitor to Nokia lolz

                      @jana

                      Updating your phones firmware won't void your warranty, either doing it by yourself or thru Nokia service centers.

                      But changing product codes will definitely void your warranty.

                        thanks father Vince

                        I think i just have to update it only after 12 months warranty period.

                        Thanks.

                          @jana

                          if you want to update your phones firmware, i would advise you to go to your nearest Nokia Service Center and let them do the process.

                          if you purchased your phone here in pinas then you can't input chinese character. The only way is to change the product code by using a software called nemesis http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/index.php?main_page=page_2 then download nokia software updater http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163

                          I haven't tried this process yet cause changing product codes will definitely void your 12 months warranty.

                            i agree with you u r right man SE beats Nokia in multimedia for eg: Nokia N82 records video at 640x480@30fps where as SE records video at super QVGA@30fps , k850i has less powerful super flash where as N82 has crap powerful flash ,N82 has krap Toshiba large high quality CMOS where has K850i has best smaller size CMOS for best noise possible, N82 has 3.5 mm headphone jack why we need that its not a multimedia feature K850i has standard USB we have to buy adapter, N82 has built in GPS and WIFI why we need that in a multimedia phone k850i have separate accessories, k850i has large 2.2" LCD where as N82/N95 8GB has only 2.4"/2.8" LCD, N82/N95 8GB Can take you online with support for flash sites where as K850i amazingly to non flash site, most powerful processor of SE is mind blowing 208 Mhz wheres as Nokia uses only 369Mhz with 220Mhz of GPU Nokia has TV-out where as k850i has accesories N82 can play only high quality N-gage games where as k850i plays amazing java games in this way SE beats Nokia in multimedia.

                                no, no and no. xenon flash cannot be used as flashlight or torch, only LED can.

                                  Says who? You? That is your opinion and we respect that. Sorry dude but the pics posted all over the web says otherwise. I know you like your K850i but be realistic enough. Pics all over the web won't lie. Try to be objective about it.

                                    I will be very thanksful if anybody can answer my question. Does N82 have the flash light function like w700/w810 used to have, which you can use it in the dark?

                                      NO! you can't use NTORCH application on N82. That application is design only to phones with LED flash.

                                        Again, if you haven't used this phone stop making comments that are not factual and totally biased. We are sick and tired of Nokia bashers who can't seem to afford this phone that's why they keep on whining.
