I have this phone for about two years and it is still amazing. People ask me what phone it is and is it brand new and so on. It's an awesome phone, features are great, everything one could ask for in a phone.

Guys!!Started gettting bored with this black colour..Hw abt silver?Silver Users?Comments pls.also whether can we change the body and the panel?if so any idea of its availablity and the price in India.Ya got an app 2 days back,once u get the call u just flip the phone it becomes silent and the same works on calls and alarms as well..damn grt....

Have been using it for like ages (I don't think I've used a mobile for this long), still looks fresh and good looking (its the initial one - made in Finland and with the off white - silver colour, which I still prefer over the black one, which came in later). The camera is the best ever so far and Nokia is yet to come up with a better one - pls note that I recently purchased a N900 (for my office use) and that camera is still behind the N82 (mainly bcoz it lacks the zenon flash), but I guess with upcoming models, Nokia is making up for the lack of xenon flash.
I truly thank GOD, that I bought the N82, as someone had recommended the N95 to me, but I stuck with the N82 for the xenon flash and I can confidently say that it was the right choice for me. Today N95, while a good mobile, is behind the modern mobiles, whereas the N82 still has the xenon trump card.

Im using N82 black for 1.5 years..........the battery is getting older.....as im a rough user got a lot of scratches on it....and you dont belive..this it fell down from the bike which was runing on 50kmph on a hump...when my friend forgot to hit the break...i taught my phone is gone...battery & cover was out..and..but no software or hardware damages(except scratches).....this a gra8 phone its a gr8 package....and the camera is outstanding.....i compared with many nokia phones....and some Sony tooo....im satisfied the 380$(my other option was n73) i spent....i think n8 will be a successor for this....

We use wireless internet connection in our house. when i try to connect to the internet ,it says:unable to connect and sometimes my phone turns off . my phone connects to other website sometimes .what could be the reason for it?. is it because my phone has virus already?thanks.

Why don't you publish HSDPA class? You do it well for EDGE and GPRS but not for 3G. It's important to know when you choose 3G handset for surfing the web.

Its a complete phone. and a lovely camera too I've had this phone for abt 2 years and i am sure nokia hasnt made a better phone. only the real player is the basic one and profiles cannot be timed, but with a ton of other features who cares.

Slow response depends on what you put in it. and keyboard comfortability depends on the user so don't blame it on the phone. You could've not bought it in that design in the first place. Say your happy for two years for having it, say no if it didn't stayed on you that long.

n82 a great phone but all n82 users know it i want smething that will satisfy me like the n82 so i am going for the htc desire to see what all the fuss its about only problem is my servis profider never have stock -mtn.south africa .Does any one else have the same problem please speak out.

I've had this phone for 2 years now. Amazing, there will never be a better phone that this one here. Battery is awful though. Trust Nokia, when you see 225 Hours, mine holds now about 6. Charge it 2 times a day. Offline mode keeps it to about 1.5 days. Wi-Fi is fast, reliable, whenever you need it, you got it. Lots of RAM, Camera is better in close-ups than my Panasonic FZ-8. Video is also better than the Panasonic. All in all, this phone cannot be beat, price-value, no better price for such a device. Music player is quite satisfactory, you have everything in there. Now something important for new buyers. "The day you buy this phone, discharge it, then charge it the full 12 hours or even 20, then go on the Nokia site and download the newest firmware, install it battery should hold more (do a full reset of the phone if battery-life is the same, you have nothing on it, so it's pretty much ok" Battery holds a bit longer then). Lovely phone, main dissadvantage "BATTERY"
