    @Craigy29,
    Mate yes N82 does take microsdhc card upto 32gb.Although right now there is only 8gb microsd memory card available out there.The most amazing thing is that N82 does not lag even after taking the 8gb card.
    @nica,it is simple if you want great music and great gaming experience than go for N81 and if you want great picture taking experience then go for N82.

      Oh just another thing about GPS.

      I have Google Maps and Nokia Maps working... it also works with 3rd party GPS software.

      I have also got it working with Tomtom and its works with a external bluetooth GPS module. It cannot work with the internal GPS receiver due to that Tomtom do not support this yet.

      I honestly would wait for Google Maps to improve I'm sure they will have voice activated soon. Its a questions of research so watch this space.

        To All,

        Please read!!! This phone can take micro SDHC upto 32gb when available. Currently, on the market the highest availability is 8gb. I have one and it works without lag.... The interface is still fast.

        The interface is an absolute pleasure!!! What more can I say....

        Camera is the best N-series phone has produced... Hence I have said "N-series" and nothing about other brands because I cannot comment. The Xennon flash is superb. Night/Club shots is flawless for a "point and shoot" its not a SLR but for a low end camera its perfect... I say "low end" because it is not in the same pedigree as the big brands like Canon and Nikon. Taking pictures with this is a pleasure in comparison to all camera phones I've owned... and its alot, not only Nokia.

        In comparison to N95 vs. N82 its really about bar vs. slide they are practically similar in specs. I personally would not get the N95-8gb cuz its a waste of money. I'd honestly wait for the 16gb or 32gb cards to arrive.

        For those people commenting on the design. This fone is generally for tech savvies therefore design is not entirely important, its personal preference. Whats more important is that it feels good in the hand and its intuitive to use. Personally the design is fresh, simple. Again, this is a personal preference and each to their own!

        For those who are deciding, I recommend that you go to a shop and test run it and decide there.

        A true all-in-one phone, Swiss Army Phone.

          @Craigy29,
          hey Craig
          ofcourse N82 is better than all the other fons,camera wise it is the best fon out there.Yes N95 8gb has the same hardware as N82 but wat N82 has better is the photo processing algorithm which is slightly better than N95's photo procssing algorithm.But N82 is a dedicated camera phone,and it has all the features of N95 except the big screen.
          From your post i can see that you need that voice activated gps system of 6110 navigator but you will not get that feature on N82 for a very long time,because you have to buy that feature from NOKIA.If you can buy that feature separately than it will be as good as 6110 navigator.
          One more thing N82 is better than k850,even the xenon flash is the strongest xenon flash in any mobile fon and this feature is not software or farmware dependent.
          This N82 takes the same time to take pictures as an N95 8gb the shutter will take 3 to 4 sec. to take a picture and if you press the camera key after taking one picture you will get instant access to the camera to take another picture,so as you see this is quick and the fon itself is quicker than any other NOKIA phone which is based on SYMBIAN OPERATING SYSTEM.
          I hope i helped you friend.But if you need more help than leave an post for 4bBN i think he knows better than me about this fon.Goodluck and take care mate.

              i thought vga at 30 fps was better than qvga at 30 fps because its bigger resolution i do like K850 but when comes to video recording i think N82 beats K850

                    its different, someone before said that he can post 2 this site with his n82, and he think that is so special and i dont think so.

                        Hi Peoples,

                        I have a question and would like your suggestions to help me choose.

                        I'm a Sony Ericsson and a Nokia fan. In the past 6 months I've had the S.E K800i & the Nokia N95 & Nokia 6110 Navigator (in that order). I currently have the Sony Ericsson K850i. The reason why I went from S.E K800i to the Nokia N95 is that I wanted Nokia N95 for it's look & 5 pixel camera, but I found the flash to bright and took to long for camera to take a picture, I then fell for the GPS in it, but didn't want to pay for voice directions, so I traded up for the Nokia 6110 Navigator as GPS voice comes with mobile, I also down graded on the camera on this one. I then wanted a good camera phone again and didn't care much for GPS as I rarely used it, so I traded it in for the Sony Ericsson K850i cause of the 5pixel camera and the xenon flash (i loved this on the K800i too), but then a month after geting the K850i, Nokia released the N82,which has everything in a camera mobile I like, I also prefer the menu's the Nokia have over the S.E menu.

                        So if anyone out there has had the S.E K850i and now has the Nokia N82, or anyone who knows alot about mobiles, can you please advise if it would be best to go for the Nokia N82 now, It has everything i want in a mobile, I'm just worried that when I take a picture it might be slow like the N95.

                        Another question, can the Nokia N82 take a 4gb memory card?

                        Thanks

                        Craig

                          Does ur phone re-arrange the images and maintain the frame??? have u tried to post to a image intensive page e.g. Flash site??? whilst still maintaining the overall look and feel of the site?? I'm curious??? Can you try it with your phone and tell me the outcome??? best test is with this site!!! I mean I have always had my doubts and this phone has done it flawlessly. Older Nseries do ok but takes time... SE phones I wont comment. E61i series phones do it well but again still takes alot of time to reprocess the page. I can't comment on other makes or brands but at least I'm honest enough to say that rather than make a blind assumption!

                                wow! Didn't think it was possible to post to this site via the n82. Heard someone did it so I had to try. This site is not exactly mobile friendly. But its sure is with this phone. Get this phone. Well worth the money. No lag. Fast symbian.... Posted from my n82 on the Vodafone network.

                                  just got my n82 and i must say that everything including the stereo speakers is very fine except that motion sensor works sometimes :( but i expect a new firmware will fix this issue. This phone is worth the money.

                                      May i know the clarity of sound from N82 speaker? Does it as loud as N73 ? or softer ?
