Finally... FINALLY, the N82 has a formidable successor.. the N8. Barring that, there's not a phone I'd trade in ..except the HTC HD2... but that requires the hefty $30 pda fee.

I want to know loudspeekers volume because i want to not miss any call. I can hear the 5800 hardly in most of the day because of traffic . ( thanks for your advice i'll try it LOL : ) ).

Lambo, 17 May 2010.tnks man but i want to know how mush the phone loud compar... moreOk, tested! I went to dig up my 5800, then i play compared the volume with the respective bundled headsets. That means the headset taht came with 5800 for 5800 and the one that came with N900 for N900... Ofcors =) And then i alternate them.
sorry to say 5800 has louder sound with the original headset.
However, when using aftermarket earplugs (Sony), the N900 is louder. Using the earplugs from 5800 on N900 gave the loudest sound. But i think that can be compensated by pulling all sliders of the 5800's equalizer to the max. So i dont think this will be good enough for you...?
I do however wonder where you live, its must be a VERY noisy place. Coz full volume on either unit with either headset, its LOUD. I recommend a drop of soy cooking oil in each ear, maybe you have some hardened stuff behind the eardrums. Only soy eh, dont risk any "alternative" cooking oil.

I have some question to you & please repl... moreoh so many questions.. =) N900 is the best in what it does, sound is loud enough, quite loud with my Sony high end in-ear headset. I have N82 and 5800 and does not find any use for them anymore. For pure music player i think 5800 is better coz of battery life, the powerful hardware of N900 consumes more power ofcors.
Camera is ok, its not the best i guess, but more than good enough. Most ppl would not be able to tell the differnce from N82, and N82 would only be better in low light conditions when the flash is used.
N900 does well in all areas, and it is a pocket computer, so it cant really be compared to Symbian phones, N900 is like a new category of handheld devices, the first internet tablet from nokia to have phone fuctionality. Battery life is not great but better than N82. I really dont want anything else, its great, but you decide whats important for you. Computer with a phone or a regular smartphone?

I used to love N82, its a great fone. But then i got an N900, and even if i still have the N82 i just cant find anything to use it for. Its showing its age, its technologically outdated. Still better than brand new midrage fones but compared to modern smartfones and mobile computers like the N900 its really not much to love about N82. Its like an ex girlfriend from the past, you remember how sweet loving you made but the years that have passed since has made her quite unattractive and not very exiting (if at all). Time does the same to cellfones.

Great Phone, Ive been using it for over a year. Great Camera, Good Music Player, Good battery life,
The only bad part about the phone is it gets a little slow if uve used up alot of the memory.
Overall very good phone, Would rate it 9/10.

who's sony? nokia n82 is the power camera phone compare wit sony. very sharp, true color and bright picture. why? because it using carl zeiss lens and xenon flash. carl zeiss is co who produces a great lens such as microscope. not like sony, their're juz using that technology that's we knew their're not major on it. think it

1 - nice look.
2 - the most strongest camera i have ever seen before with XF . 5M pixel .
3 - easy 2 use not hardly as N73 .
4 - hot swap of memory .
5 - its video is better than the video taken by a digital camera .

Hahaha... If you want a better quality on the camera , choose SonyEricsson's phone ... Compare it ... photos taken with sony's phone and nokia's phone... same megapixel , 5.0 , same setting (no flash) , then take the picture and put it in the computer for a view.
There... prove tat all... SONYERICSSON'S camera is clearer than the nokia's . and for XenonFlash , try sonyC905
