strange how u have it and its not been released? but let me guess your in the mobile phones buisness? typical story. keys look akward... features look awasome... wonder if the software is buggy? not encountered a nokia yet with good software at launch!

I have the phone since Monday and i have to say WOW, this is by far the best features phones i ever got...The camera take better picture than my K800, and the video quality is amazing for a phone, this must the best ALL IN ONE phone on the market! N82 is THE phone to have right now!
The only thing i don't like is the small keypad but you get use to it. It's less expensive than the N95 8GB plus you have the Xenon flash. Buy it, you wont be disappointed!

i used this phone for 2 days. screen rotation is not good as iphone. it was just ok nothing special. oh yes camera was better than n95 for sure.
currantly using: iphone, n95, e90 and n81

N82 will be released in Thailand in around 2 days at the price of 625 USD (N81 8G is 597 USD, N95 8GB is 768 USD) without contract (All GSM operators in my country provide only service. The phones are sold by the brand's distributors)

Can any one tell me that how is it possible that my ip sign which is M@Ti and ROCK's ip sign which is also M@Ti a few post down.I thought it was uniqe for each person.

Some people are saying that the phone is too heavy.Oh yeah,its heavy alright,its sure as heavy as a dumble,or a big piece of stone,sometimes it might feel like you are holding a mountain in your hand but if and only if you are a little child wearing dipers and if you put the phone into your pocket your diper might go down!!
How silly its weight is just 114 grams(not kilo grams).

One thing that is good about the Swedes is that the are Eco-conscience, and they are Tax heavily on goods that are made from outside the Eurozone. If Nokia wants to penetrate the Swedish market they would have to do it on Swedish terms. It would make sense for nokia to have it shipped and made from within the Euro, if they want to minimize export and tax duty. Also,I'm not sure but a few months ago there was some talk from EU Brussels, Belgium that there will be a rise in Tax for goods made outside the Eurozone, not sure if this has passed. Anyways. I hope its made in Europe and not Asia.

U learn somethIng everyday,i thought it was all rosy in scandanavia?? I have had a few chinese built fones and all were fine and my p990i is made in france..They all shud have quality control but look at china and the mattel case in USA were millions of the china toys failed US quality standards ??

Brynn, hopfully its not coming from China. I'll soon find out. And actually Swedish shipping is Friday 30th, next week. Since, Sweden don't deliver weekends I'm guessing it will arrive on the Monday week after. I'm gonna go to UK this weekend so I'm gonna ask around at Carphone warehouse and other retailers. I've still got time to cancel because I pay on delivery... as long as it hasn't been shipped to my address. I checked here and went to Phonehouse (Euro equivelent to Car Phone Warehouse) and they don't even have a date of release. I heard from a mate of mine at Nokia Sweden is that they are holding off shipping till the end of the month cuz this is when people spend their money. I will try and find out before hand if it is coming from Asia. The thing about the Swedes is that they are patriotic to the Ericsson this is where is was born and Finnish and Swedes has always had rivalry. There's too much bad history!

to jetsson,,you get yours on 30th but thats two weeks since it started shipping,,if they were finnish made uk is just over the sea and could make it in one day so i therefore deduce they are coming from china.!!!
Carfone just says december on their site which could mean anything but i hope they do it on pay as you go straight away

Its a shame about the battery life...however, I've still ordered the phone and hopefully get it on the 3rd Dec. Luckily, here in Scandinavia the we're getting the shipment on 30th Nov. The phone has everything I need. A2DP,expandable memory upto the tech max of 32gb (music and videos), wireless for VOIP (big plus for me) and GPS. I am curious about the GPS though. How does it perform in comparison to e.g. Tomtom.

This fone will feel heavy to you if your last fone was cut out of a magazine ,,there are some comments on here to wind people up but it is boring really and just spoils things which is what these children are doing

very funny combination, a big bulky and heavy phone along with tiny keypad, its not ergonomic for sms usage

Design - perfect(10).
Features - overloaded(8)
Performance - (1) for short battery life and flimsy buttons.Don'n tell me that I can't roughly grade SymbianOS performance based on poor battery.

Someone said soon there will be an N82 8gb... Whats the point the phone can handle SDHC micro cards up to 32gb. That is the tech limit... unfortunately SDHC cards only go upto 8gb at the moment so N82 8gb... Ermm its already there!! buy a SDHC micro card!!!
